Denmon impressed me most of any player I saw last year in person. Including PJIII, Acy, Miller, Robinson, Taylor, Withey, White, English, Ratliffe. He has ice in his veins and I can see him being Terry/BG7 Yeah he was a clutch college player, but Ed Cota also has school records at North Carolina. There goes English. |

There goes Lamb. I know this is the Mizzou in me, but I want to see Denmon or English on the Bulls. I think Ratliffe has the better shot to be a productive pro. I don't think Denmon can make it due to size issues. Mentally, I wasn't a really big fan of English to be honest. So in other words, I wouldn't want either of those guards on my team, but I'd take Ratliffe. |

Rose has struggled, but that's not too surprising. He's basically finishing up preseason right now if he's even 100%. Either way, it's always good to get a win on the circus trip. |

James Johnson had a solid few minutes there in the 2nd, getting points, rebound or two, only 1 foul. I missed the first half, but we've been seeing flashes from him offensively. It's nice to see the only 1 foul part. He hasn't been able to keep himself on the floor. |

Almost got interesting in the end, but the Bulls picked it up in the 2nd half and won. Back above .500. I'm liking this team so far. Better than expected and I think the record will get better. |

Great video with Noah loving every second. I was rolling through this entire video. Noah has been great this year and stuff like this is always fun to see. |

Those Johnson fouls sure don't help the rotation any, ugh. I'm impressed with Taj, but I'm skeptical... Even without the fouls I doubt Johnson would be playing much. Vinny left him in with 2 so he knows that. He just had a nice offensive rebound and scored on a goaltend. |

Chauncey Billups, new to my spiff list: "As soon as I saw the flight of the ball, I knew it was good. Then, I was sitting and laughing. Not so much about the shot, but looking at their reaction. They were dancing and jumping around like they had just made the Sweet Sixteen." Shut up Chauncey, you shouldn't have won. No reason to complain when you got the oh so close call. |

I'm happy we can't just run an isolation play for Gordon now. run a serious play. Yeah, it worked out. My dad and I were hating the Bulls chances going into that possession (less than 50%) and still hating their chances having to play d. The Bulls don't breed last minute confidence. Nice play by Salmons there to cut the time in half. |

The Bulls have looked out of this one the whole time, but it's close in the last minute. As long as Derrick doesn't try some jump shot after going 1 on 1 again. |

Sick block by Rose on Billups. You could see him sizing him up on that breakaway. Rose isn't shooting all that well tonight, missed a few open mid range jumpers. |

I'm unable to watch the game... did Denver REALLY not foul? Or has the calling been pretty bad? The Bulls got a couple tough calls against them, but I don't remember any bad no calls. Johnson just had a nice drive and finish. It's really odd to know so little about a college player that was almost taken in the lottery. |

Derrick Rose has 7 turnovers in this game. Eek. He was bad, but they keep winning. 3 in a row. It says a lot about this team that Rose can be so bad by his standards and the Bulls can win a game over a halfway decent team. They have enough guys capable of putting up the points that a couple of them are bound to do it every night. The defense is better than last year and the team rebounding is spectacular even without Tyrus. As a sidenote, how out of place did James Johnson look tonight? Gibson already makes the draft decent or better, but Johnson is further away than I realized, even from watching him in the preseason. |

This team is pretty confusing so far. It's hard to get a read on them when they don't play consistent offensively. That was probably expected to some extent without Ben, but the results are pretty damn good considering the schedule. How many would have the Bulls 3-2 after this 5 game stretch? 1-4 wouldn't have even been super disappointing. |

I have to ask...am I the only one who remembers all the times at the end of games where they'd draw up an iso play for Gordon, he'd get trapped/double teamed because everyone knew who would get the ball, throw up a prayer, and make like 20% of them? I've had this argument with a couple people. Gordon was clutch, but he wasn't good in the last second plays, mostly because of their design IMO. I was on the don't resign Ben bandwagon, at least for the money he wanted. I think this year's team will make the decision an after thought and obviously correct move. and i gotta say i was definately hating on the taj gibson pick at first but he has really been impressive for a late first rounder. He couldn't hit a basket tonight, but he works hard on the boards. Can't have enough of those guys. |
