Half way done with this mess of a season. The Pacers give us another chance to improve our draft positioning tonight.

So, according to the opening, we're not only missing Deng and Duhon, but Ben Gordon is out tonight.

Have not heard a reason yet. Will tell.

Ben Gordon is out with a sore right wrist.

Bulls with a good run early in the 2nd with a lineup of TT, Noah, Thabo, Nocioni, and Griffin on the court.

I <3 Joakim, I <3 Thabo

Thabo and Noah are definitely off to a heck of a start.

Of course we also have to factor in that Indiana plays zero defense...

That's probably why Hinrich is suddenly hitting shots too. laugh.gif

NOAH IS TAKING CONTROL!!

Posted by: Chicago Bulls Franchise Jan 23 2008, 09:45 PM

Well this is Hinrich's breakout game..

Posted by: chilord Jan 23 2008, 09:49 PM

Career high for the Captain. Nice.

Posted by: eddog2 Jan 23 2008, 09:53 PM

Man. Hinrich posted up some nice stats. I'm glad not only b/c it helped my fantasy team but b/c I hope he finally is out of his funk.

38 points, 7 boards, 10 assists, 4 3's, & 2 steals.

The Bulls are now only 1 game out of the playoffs.

You know it won't be. As long as Wallace is on the roster and all his limbs are attached, he's going to start. I'm sure Pax and Reinsdorf wouldn't be happy about their $15 mil mistake starting the game on the bench.

Wow! Kirk! And a monstrosity of a game for Noah! I never would have thought we could beat anyone without Deng and Gordon.

Yeah.. even though we all know Noah is a better player than Ben Wallace. This game was the perfect proof. Noah enters the game. He gets about 3 rebounds in 1 minute and energizes the team and then not only creates that burst of energy, he sustains it throughout the entire game all the way to 14 points and 15 rebounds.. Again, could somebody tell me what Ben Wallace does that Joakim Noah can't?

Well, proving that he can do it consistently is a pretty major thing, just a few days ago he posted 4 points and 4 boards in 23 minutes. Yeah, I say that a lot with a lot of different players, but that is generally one of the biggest issues with young players, whether it's a matter of effort, ability, or just avoiding mental mistakes.

Of course Wallace isn't exactly his old self anymore, it doesn't take much to be better than him right now.
