TalkBulls Forums _ Bulls Talk _ Bulls @ Raptors, 11/11/09

Tough night tonight. Short-handed Bulls come off a rough loss last night, go on the road, to finish a back to back against a conference opponent. This is where not having Tyrus, having Pargo with a bad back, having no confidence in Johnson and having Hunter rather than a backup we'd be willing to play might make a difference. These guys have to be worn down after last night's game.

The good thing is that Toronto has awful defense. I could see a slower Bulls team tonight, but I think they'll win this. I think that last night's game could light some sort of a fire under the Bulls and they could possibly have a winning streak, even into the road trip (though I doubt they beat the Lakers) I'm REALLY looking forward to the 21st rematch with Denver. Anyway... Toronto actually hasn't scored under 100 this season, but they've also allowed scores of 91, 115, 125, 99, 90, 129, and 131. That's a 111.4 oppg. Yikes! I actually haven't watched a Toronto game? What's their problem? If it's lane defense the Bulls can hopefully capitalize on that..

6 quick points for Taj.

Toronto out-running the Bulls a bit to start off.

Yeah, the tempo is in Toronto's favor but Noah and Gibson are playing well inside.

Bulls aren't handling this pace well towards the end of the 1stl.

Who's looking tired from last night?

Derrick needs to slow it down. He's the only one that likes playing this tempo.

It's become a trend, hasn't it? You can see why the Bulls are afraid to play him.

However, offensively he has shown some ability. Nice finish there.

Those Johnson fouls sure don't help the rotation any, ugh. I'm impressed with Taj, but I'm skeptical...

Posted by: Cowch Nov 11 2009, 06:50 PM

ANOTHER? Is he playing to hard, getting bad calls, or just playing stupidly?

Even without the fouls I doubt Johnson would be playing much. Vinny left him in with 2 so he knows that. He just had a nice offensive rebound and scored on a goaltend.

Bulls seem to have found their legs towards the end of the 2nd.

The radio guys make it sound like its mainly 1, that he's just overdoing it right now.

Way to go Bulls! 60 in a half... do they hit 120? rolleyes.gif Toronto's D is REALLY bad...

Is it D or is it pace? You can play decent D but play at a pace where you win most of yoru games 115-105.

Noah with another Double-Double.

Posted by: Balta1701-B Nov 11 2009, 08:02 PM

The Raps just have more in the tank down the stretch than the Bulls right now. They're just chipping away.

Posted by: Balta1701-B Nov 11 2009, 08:19 PM

Bulls are now ice-cold and the Raps have taken the lead.

Posted by: Balta1701-B Nov 11 2009, 08:26 PM

Yeah, this loss is on fatigue.

Posted by: Balta1701-B Nov 11 2009, 08:35 PM

Could have really used a healthy Thomas, a healthy Gray, a healthy Pargo, a better developed Johnson, and a healthy Rose tonight.

Posted by: Balta1701-B Nov 11 2009, 08:38 PM

Salmons 1/11, Miller 0/5, Hinrich 3/10.

Down the stretch, no one could shoot at all. Those guys in particular.

Posted by: Sanitarium Nov 11 2009, 09:53 PM

Kirk and Miller have I think maybe one good scoring game a piece.

But other than that... Salmons, Miller, Kirk and Pargo are REALLY hurting us offensively

I'm starting to really worry Salmons is going to opt-in and screw up our 2010 plans! He's sucking so much you know what this season!

Salmons picks up his option and the Bulls can still offer a max deal by rescinding the Q.O. to Tyrus.
