I had the playoff beard going due to superstition last October. Luckily Steve never saw it. Ask willie though, he thought I looked nuts. That being said, he was wearing shorts at the time during game 2 of the world series, so you decide which one of us was nuts.

Yes...Willie is gonna punch a wall out of anger. Your so lucky Rowand...you can tell people you made someone put there fist through a wall.
And playoff beards own all. I even had a routine as to clean it up during off-days.

I just hope you live in a house and not an aparatment or townhome or any type of place where you share a common wall with a neighbor.
I can see it now, neighbor having tea and crumpets when all of a sudden your fist comes flying through the wall.

As far as growing out hair, mine grows pretty rapidly and starts the mullet effect, so I frequently cut the back to keep it clean, but the rest goes wild. Not in my eyes yet, I give it 2 weeks.

I do the same thing with my facial hair. I grow it and grow it and than I just chop it and than a few weeks later I get the idea that I want to grow something different. It would be kind of fun if it weren't for the fact that I hate shaving.

The beard for me comes along a lot in the summer due to lazyness. When I'm at school, I shave every day. When I'm home for the summer though, it can get ugly....

But now that it's summer and I have no one to tell me how to keep my hair, it's pretty long. I'm told it looks bad (mulletish ), but I really could care less.
