First REAL game for team usa (they scrimmaged PR a couple days ago)
10pm central on ESPN 2. BTW, hinrich was the best free throw shooter in the scrimmage, going 4 for 4. Everybody played in the scrimmage, so it's a good bet we will see Hinrich in action tonight. Is the season EVER gonna start?!?!?!?!?! |

We may see a little bit of Hinrich tonight because it's an exhibition game, but I dont expect to see much of him in the tournament. Coach K is notorious for playing only a few players, but that could be because of Duke's lack of depth. I think Hinrich should be a great fit for the team. I hope he gets a fair amount of time.

It's Puerto Rico. and tomorrow it will be china... and the next day lithuania... and after that argentina... the states are finally taking this international crap seriously... they are well coached and have team put together by looking at more then just point per game stats. no international team touches the states... I'd be suprised if any game ends with the states with less then a 10 point lead. |

I'd be suprised if any game ends with the states with less then a 10 point lead. A lot of people have been saying that for the last 5 years... There are a few major differences though: 1) Coaching. It looks like they're actually going to play some defense and get out and run. 2) Actual superstars. Lebron and Wade are a big boost. The closest they had before was Duncan, and he didn't do too well in the international format for some reason. 3) Real PG play. They still have shoot-first guys like Lebron, Wade and Arenas, but they also have Paul and Hinrich. Plus those shoot-first guys are a little more willing to pass than guys like Iverson and Marbury. |

You don't sound cocky or arrogant at all. prepare to be eating your words of what you said earlier about team USA sucking. Yeah, my fork and knife are ready... |
