It is obvious this team needs to make a deal for someone who can freaking score. I think Gordon should stay because he can actually score. Duhon could be appealing to some teams. Michael Sweetney and P.J. Brown are both expandable if we could get a legit 4 in a trade.
I miss J.R. Smith Hey, we got Griffin and 2 2nd round picks though!!!!!! |

Duhon, Gordon, Brown, Tyrus Thomas (for the right person), Knicks pick (for the right person), and Michael Sweetney can all go for the right people.
I'm very reluctant to trade Deng and if we did move him it would have to be for a total superstar cause I'd always prefer to move Gordon. |

This is the players that should stay IMO and there isnt many.
STAYING: Kirk Hinrich Luol Deng Ben Wallace Andres Nocioni Tyrus Thomas Thabo Sefolosha GOING: Ben Gordon Chris Duhon PJ Brown Michael Sweetney Players I could care less about: Malik Allen Victor Khryapa Andre Barret Possible Trade Ideas.. Ben Gordon and PJ Brown for Lamar Odom- Gives the Lakers a premere Point Guard, Ben Gordon which is the position he should be playing at.. PJ's expiring contract, and with Lamar Odom gone the Lakers would start Kwame Brown and Andrew Bynum. The Bulls get a nice Power forward who is probably more of a small forward but he can play PF especially against other Eastern Conference teams. Thabo Sefolosha can fill the void of Ben Gordon and make his way into the starting role. TRADE #2) Ben Gordon, Andres Nocioni, PJ Brown and Bulls (New Yorks) 1st round pick for Chris Bosh and filler. Unlikely but Bosh has supreme talent but there still not that great of a team and I could see them making a deal for the right talent. Plus Bosh doesnt like to play center because Bargnani is a SF/PF type player. With Ben Gordon they have someone who can score for them on offense and Nocioni could move into their starting SF role with Bargs as their PF. For the Bulls we lose two key players but make up for it for their REAL need, Chris Bosh a scoring/ rebounding PF. Imagine, Big Ben and Bosh on the same team with Tyrus Thomas spelling minutes and mixing it up on the defensive end. Luol would stay as our main Small forward for the season. The only problem to this is, where is Tyrus Thomas going to play? He cant play center and isnt better than Bosh.. If thats the lineup for the future, im worried about Thomas. Lamar Odom deal: PG Hinrich SG Sefolosha SF Deng PF Odom C Wallace Bosh deal: PG Hinrich SG Sefolosha SF Deng PF Bosh C Wallace |

Hinrich, Deng, Big Ben are the only guys I would be pissed if we dealt. And obviously Big Ben is going no where.

Here's what I see.
Assets: Kirk Hinrich (I wouldn't be unopen to trading him, but be real, he's not going anywhere) Luol Deng Ben Wallace Tyrus Thomas (get this guy some more time) Thabo Sefolosha (see above) 2007 First-Round Pick (too many potential stars to pass up) Borderline: Andres Nocioni P.J. Brown (expiring contract) Trade: Ben Gordon (my favorite player, but if anyone goes its going to be him; good value too) Chris Duhon (decent value) Michael Sweetney The rest really don't matter. I don't know who would be available via trade, but if I could I'd try to get a second pick in the draft. That's how good I think it will be. But, most likely, we'll have to give up our pick for anyone good. I say no one gets traded until the off-season, except maybe BG7. |

There are only 2 that I would hate trading: Wallace and Hinrich. After those 2, I wouldn't like giving up Deng or Noc, but if the right deal came along (i.e Garnett), I'd be willing to give one of them up, though I can't decide which one. I think as of now, I'd lean towards keeping Noc, though Deng would be so hard to give up b/c he's got loads of untapped talent.
I'd really love a starting lineup of: C- Wallace PF- Garnett SF- Nocioni SG- Gordon (if not traded) or Sefolosha PG- Hinrich With this, the bench wouldn't have the best depth anymore, but with Wallace, Garnett, and Hinrich all playing most of the game, it wouldn't be too big of a deal. Thabo would be good to fill in for either Gordon or Hinrich, Khryapa could spell Nocioni well for a little bit, and Allen and Sweetney could spell Wallace/Garnett for short periods of time. Bench: Malik Allen Sefolosha (if Duhon is traded) or Duhon (if Gordon is traded) Adrian Griffin Viktor Khryapa Michael Sweetney Andre Barrett Sign FA Guard or Andriuskevicius |

If we ever got Garnett we would have to trade..
Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, Chris Duhon and NY's first round pick more than likely. |

Bill Simmons sure seems to be pushing for KG to get out of Minnesota: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=simmons/061122 .
He's said multiple times that the Bulls have the players to make this trade. I wonder how possible this really is... |

We need to remember, KG isnt a young kid anymore. He is 30-32 years old (Cant remember) and has bad knees. I wouldnt be overly excited to trade alot of our talent just to get a guy that likely has 2 more good years in him at the most. If we trade all of our young talent, we would be virtually just like Minnesota..

Garnett being traded to the bulls would leave bulls on the short end of the stick. I say no.

He's missed a total of 7 games in the last 5 years and is still playing at a very high level. We're not exactly talking about Antonio McDyess here. And there is basically no way we'd be as bad as Minnesota, if KG goes they're virtually an NBDL team. We'd have to deal every starter and Noc for that to happen, which is of course perposterous. |
