I don't believe this will happen, but interesting nevertheless.

Man, Reggie is basically an OLDER Ray Allen. Even in his prime basically all he did was shoot jumpers coming off of screens. I gotta think that they Celts wouldn't be running a whole lot of plays for him, and his mobility has to be pretty low right now. He'd be a mess defensively.

That said, if he has ANY mobility his outside shooting will be a plus, he's going to have to be more of a spot-up guy though. I would think his playing time would be pretty limited with Pierce and Allen playing at least in the high 30's for minutes a piece and with Tony Allen eating a lot more time, unless they think they can go with a Pierce-Allen-Miller perimeter combo (and I wouldn't trust any of them to guard PG's). Much as I'd hate to see him come back, if Scottie Pippen has ANYTHING left in the tank he'd be a much better fit.

IMO it'd be worth it just to see Reggie Miller kicking people in the crotch when he goes up for the shot again and drawing a foul on the defender. laugh.gif

As much as I could not stand Reggie Miller, ruining his legacy by attempting a feble comeback would have made me actually have less respect for the guy.
