We won, the officials were garbage and f'd us over in the end. There is no way you can overturn that call at the end, too close to tell.. One other thing, can we have a little help from our own home clock runners? WTF?

Think this one sums it up for me.
QUOTE Jeremy (Roundball Mining Co./TrueHoop Network):
Sorry I think I blacked out there for a while. On one hand I agree with JD, if it is so close you have to look at it for five minutes I do not think you have the evidence to overturn it. On the other hand, I honestly do not think it is possible to have all of that happen in an honest to goodness 0.6 seconds. |

When your the home team your suppose to get those calls. It's an unwritten rule in the NBA. I am so pissed off right now because we deserved that win!

How did Rose's wheel look tonight? His numbers looked great...especially ZERO TO's.

QUOTE NBA senior vice president of referee operations Ron Johnson said Wednesday that referee Mark Wunderlich had conclusive visual evidence Tuesday to overturn a decision that would have given the Chicago Bulls a victory over the Denver Nuggets.
... The fact that there was no time left on the clock and the shot was good triggered an automatic review of the play, Johnson said. "[Wunderlich] finished looking at various views, then he asked if there were any other views available," Johnson said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "He was given a view that showed clearly that Miller's fingers were still in contact with the ball and there were 0 seconds left on the game clock. Therefore the ball had not left his hand, therefore the basket was nullified." NBA spokesman Tim Frank also said Wunderlich got the call right. "Everything was done by the book, and they made the correct decision," Frank said. "The truck informed [Wunderlich] they had one additional angle, and so he asked to review that, and it ended up being the overhead shot, which ended up being the conclusive angle. "Once he saw that, he was able to make his decision." |

Chauncey Billups, new to my spiff list: "As soon as I saw the flight of the ball, I knew it was good. Then, I was sitting and laughing. Not so much about the shot, but looking at their reaction. They were dancing and jumping around like they had just made the Sweet Sixteen."
Shut up Chauncey, you shouldn't have won. No reason to complain when you got the oh so close call. |
