there is no reason for us not to put together a nice run here and move up in the standings this month. here is a look at the current standings and the month of march for our bulls.
Eastern Conference W L GB 1 Detroit 36 19 - 2 Cleveland 33 24 4 3 Washington 31 25 5 ½ 4 Toronto 32 26 5 ½ 5 Chicago 33 27 5 Schedule: MARCH OPPONENT Fri 2 NO/Oklahoma City (should win) Sun 4 at Milwaukee (should win) Wed 7 at Miami (w/o wade should win) Thu 8 at Orlando (tough but winnable) Sun 11 at Boston (better win) Tue 13 Boston (see above) Wed 14 at Philadelphia (better win) Sat 17 at Memphis (better win) Tue 20 LA Clippers (can win) Thu 22 Denver (strugglin team thats is beatable) Sun 25 at Indiana (can win) Mon 26 Portland (should win) Thu 29 Detroit (tough game) Sat 31 Cleveland (tough game) Obviously we are not going to win all the games we should, but outside of the Pistons, Cavs and Orlando game this is a very easy schedule. The bulls should be able to improve in the standings and build some confidence heading into the playoffs. |

Weve beat Miami three times this year with Wade. We should be OK without him.

Ya, Shaq only played in the opener but the team is built around Wade now and him missing is a bigger blow to them then if Shaq is out. Buuuut...the question is...do we match up better with a team led by Wade or a team lead by Shaq? I'm tempted to say we match up better with a team led by Wade because Hinrich can hound him all day. |

If this was five years ago i would agree with you. Shaq, while still a force, cannot carry a team by himself anymore. He can only play limited minutes and a team like the bulls could run him out of the gym. Without Wade, the rest of the team around Shaq is not good enough to be a serious threat IMO. |

In a series we still dont match up great with shaq but in in terms of one single game they should just be concentrate on getting him in foul trouble on drives like they did in the first four games of the playoffs
then he is a nonfactor |

The bulls should be able to improve in the standings and build some confidence heading into the playoffs. Based on the Bulls inconsistencies this season I say they will go 9-5 in that stretch. That will make them 42-32 with 8 games remaining in the season. And by studying the remaining 8 games of the year against Atlanta, Detroit, NJ, Toronto, NY, Charlotte, Washington and NJ I expect to finish that w/ a 5-3 mark. That would give the Bulls a 47-35 record which should be good for a 3 or 4th seed in a weak Eastern Conference. |

This team has been wayyyyy too inconsistent to take any team, I don't care how bad, for granted. There's no such thing as an "easy" schedule with this bunch.
