Damn. That really hurts. They led the whole damned game, only to give it away at the end. I really can't believe we contained Steve Nash that well, even with Kirk out of the game. Once again, Chris Duhon deserves some big credit for his D, as does the whole Bulls team. They really held down Phoenix, they just couldn't execute themselves when it mattered.

Even if we lost, I think there's some good in it...at least I'll probably think there's some good in any game where the Bulls take Phoenix down to the wire and hold the Suns to 43 points in the first half and under 100 for the game. They play THAT sort of defense, get it fully in sync gradually but peaking around playoff time, and suddenly this team becomes a threat to anyone. |
