I am not 100% worried, but was just curious if anyone thinks the Celtics this year could possibly get close to, tie, or surpass the Bulls amazing season of 72-10? I am still waiting for them to be truly tested by some title contenders, but it is possible, no?

The Celts are 11-1 now, they didn't win their 11th game last season until January.

They'd have to go 62-8 the rest of the year. Or win roughly 7.7 games for every loss to beat the record by 1 game. That would be very hard to do. Impossible? No! But very unlikely. It will depend on what their record looks like at the end of December.

Starting on Dec 14 they play

Milwaukee
Toronto
Detroit
Chicago
Orlando
Sacramento
Seattle
Utah
LA Lakers
Houston
Memphis
Detroit

Then in February they go on a tough west coast trip that includes

Denver
Golden State
Phoenix
Portland
& LA Clippers

I think they will finish 65-17.
