With the Free Agency upon us, it seems like a good time to have a catch-all thread for posts like this:
QUOTE The Chicago Bulls are also interested in acquiring the rights to Spanish league power forward Luis Scola from the San Antonio Spurs. Bulls forward Andres Nocioni is not likely to be involved in a trade to the Spurs. The Bulls may offer guard Chris Duhon if he is not included in a larger deal. This guys seems like a sleeper Pax would go after. |

QUOTE Bulls waive Curry
K.C. Johnson, 3:30 p.m. As expected, the Bulls waived 2007 second-round pick JamesOn Curry on Thursday. The guard never played in a regular-season game. While on a NBA Development League assignment with the Iowa Energy, Curry was arrested and charged with public urination and resisting arrest. He later underwent thumb surgery. By releasing Curry, the Bulls are only obligated to pay $100,000 of his partially guaranteed salary for next season. Counting Ben Gordon's tender offer, the Bulls currently have 13 players under contract. |
