this team won't stay together. with pressures from everyone/ everywhere pax. will pull a trigger with someone. they are already confused as to how to play TT and Noah together. despite wanting to believe this, i do not think we would go too far mainly because i consider deng alone pretty much (some help from Noc).--I think BG is awful. even if he has his 20 some points a game, he makes so many other mistakes and doesn't play D. i think our young guys are good, but we haveta make a move somewhere and probably will--if skiles goes, maybe that is another story.

QUOTE (Chicago Bulls Franchise @ Nov 21 2007, 04:12 PM) *
Lol @ Skiles, yes Tyrus has sprinted the floor more than one time. So this is why his minutes have decreased. I guess if he wants to play he better "Sprint" the floor. Skiles will never develop anybody because he is too worried about somebody running the floor over wins and losses early in the season. Scott, how bout GET YOUR DAMN TEAM PREPARED for the season and stop jacking around with Tyrus Thomas. He'll probably run him off, just like he did with Tyson Chandler.

In Skiles defence, I don't like hearing Thomas being called lazy. He needs to act like a pro, he's making all this money the least he can do is do what your coaches tell you, even if he should be a college coach..

IMO I think Skiles is trying to take all the pressure off him and his moronic coaching and put it all on the players. Paxson actually acted like a man and said it is his fault, he put the team together. Why doesn't Skiles man up and blame it on him for once in his life. I realize the players aren't living up to their end of the bargain but the reason may be the lack of good coaching, or maybe these players have reached their limit; maybe they won't get any better than they are right now (Speaking of Deng, Gordon, and Kirk). O and, Sam Smith is a douche.

I have nothing to say, just that I really like that you called Sam Smith a "douche". Thank you.

We do have talent (though not a leader), and the problem is utilizing it: Skiles is doing terribly right now. What he is doing with Tyrus is ridiculous. And clearly they are not being coached to stop the jump shooting, otherwise they wouldn't force is so blatantly. We beat the Clips because we took it to the hole. With our shooting abilities, the jump shots will fall after we have established some inside presence. I also will stress again, that if used correctly, Skiles needs to play Grey--he is slow, yes, but a skilled big man. Right now we are being coached like a college team and we are truly playing like one.

I would NOT like to see kobe as a chicago bull. I think I don't like Kobe for the same reasons Phil Jackson doesn't like Kobe. He doesn't give it his all 100% of the time. Same with shaq. kobe has a bigger ego than michael jordan or scottie pippen had, former chicago bulls that always played 100%..

Kobe would not make a good chicago bull player

----I absolutely hate Kobe's personality and attitude, but he always plays 100%, I cannot say any different. He is actually playing quite inspired right now, for whatever reason: unselfish, and of course, taking on the leadership in the clutch....The Lakers are not playing too shabby actually......

I heard that Kobe is going to be buying MJ's house in Lake forest (I believe) after all MJ's divorce stuff is settled....probably BS, but also might support the idea of waiting for Noc, etc...

I am not 100% worried, but was just curious if anyone thinks the Celtics this year could possibly get close to, tie, or surpass the Bulls amazing season of 72-10? I am still waiting for them to be truly tested by some title contenders, but it is possible, no?

but what about Grey? I def. think he needs to be utilized more. He is a good big man, plain and simple. he is a bit slow, but we need to find where to fit him in, instead of dismissing him.

I really like that lineup as well. I always wanted Noc to start and I think BG is just better off the bench. That way our starting line looks good, but our bench looks nice with that lineup model as well.

I think Sef. needs to play more. He hasn't been given enough time, I dont think, to be what he can be. Most teams would die for a player of his type. I think we need to utilize him more. Anyone else?

I recently heard the possibility of a Kirk and Ben Wallace package...

i have an oddly strong feeling this will go down, but def without Lou. We wont part with him and thankfully Kobe's bitching will help us keep him. I just think the idea of a potential next Jordan/Pippen combo is too good. If we can keep Noah or Noc, I'd be happy enough--with Grey playing well and mature immediatley, we are deep enough.

I am not so upset that we didnt keep tyson (see other thread), but rather that we didnt keep eddie curry. Both of those guys technically are just coming out of "college." And the bulls are one eddy curry away from being all that they could be. Of course this is something we cant do anything about now, but what do you all think?--Curry is a great threat in the paint.......any one else miss him?

Does that mean they would be done after one of these guys? I dont think thats enough--they need to seriously persue Darko or revisit Pau (although I dont thnk that will happen).

I think that we SHOULD persue, perhaps, Gerald Wallace. I always thought this guy was a fantastic scorer and athlete. I also think we should still look into dealing for Pau. With free agency getting underway, I have heard little rumors about the Bulls being involved in anything just yet. What do you guys think will happen for us in FA?

I personally love Marion, but I don't know if it'll be the bulls who get him, although not impossible. I just don't see how he fits in with us having Deng and even Tyrus off the bench. although hes a great athlete, where does he fit in with US? We have been ignoring that post player for too long, we have to make that our first priority IMO. for me, the ideal is Hawes and a good trade for someone who can score reliably.

does anyone else dislike Noah? I really don't like him. I think he would be tricky to "cast" so to speak. And probably not help us much in our situation.

Im not sure if adding Jermaine and subtracting gordon would do the trick. In any case, even if the trade fails for thosee other teams, that is good for us because we can again be able to deal with them (probably that whole Kobe thing).

I have another question to pose on all the trades: what do you guys think will ACTUALLY happen. Every year there are huge free agents out there and the Bulls are not usually the ones that land one (BWall is the exception.) So what will really happen for the Bulls?

Webber has been the biggest reason we cant stop those curls. They really are not so much well executed as it is Wallace not being able to fill the middle. They spread the floor so well and we have to honor Rasheeds and Webbers shots so much that we cant fill the lane to stop hamilton, etc. I think our D needs to re-assess (sp?) itself and we need to take care of the ball better. Everything else would fall into place then...if its not already too late

I think what made all the difference (besides their outstanding work ethic) was their perspecive on the series and the games this year. They knew coming out of a nice game 2 victory it could mean nothing because they were headed to the home of the champs. Great maturity and mental understanding. We are goin far. I feel it.

Its kinda upsetting becasue a lot of what Wallace (and many others do) cannot be measured. I think in those terms, camby is not too hot. I read a lot that he is quite lazy in many areas that the nuggets could use his help. His raw blocking ability is amazing tho. I see Tyrus being a very good contender for this in the future.

I know they have not announced the sched. for the Playoff's but does anyone know when they DO announce that, as well as when our first game might be? I just thought someone on this board was bound to know. Thanks.
