The thought crossed my mind today about agents. Football has there money hungry guy in Drew Rosenhaus, baseball has theirs with Scott Boras, I couldn't think of a guy for the NBA. Does anybody know who that may be or if there even is one?

With the way the NBA salaries and salary cap are set up, there is no real advantage to having a certian agent. You can only get such and such of a max salary, so its not like someone can do better for you.

Doesn't Lebron, for example, just have one of his friends or something like that working as his agent?

And actually, Lebron's agent is an example of a guy who actually did it better. When he, Wade, and Melo re-upped, Wade and Melo signed contracts first, then Lebron's agent signed a contract with a clause somehow allowing him to renegotiate a year or two earlier when the NBA hit a new collective bargaining agreement, and thus might give him a chance to earn a little bit more. Wade and Melo immediately got similar clauses inserted into their deals IIRC.
