As most of you know the Bulls have not had an All-Star since the likes of MJ and Scottie. This year I think we have two deserving players in Noah (only behind Howard and Lopez IMO for the center position) and Rose (only behind Wade, Johnson and maybe Rondo). I find it hard to justify the NBA not putting Rose into this game but crazier things have happened. What do you all think? Is this the year?!

I dunno. I don't think Rose is there yet, but I don't know how you can avoid bringing Noah as a C, but I wouldn't be surprised at all.

I don't see how there's room for rose if both Iverson and McGrady make it

But I agree with everyone else, the way Rose is playing now he should be an All Star but unfortunately he's not going to be able to beat out some of the guys ahead of him. Noah on the other hand should be voted in by the coaches to make it. He's a double double machine and though he's an awful one on one defensive player he's the leagues #2 leading rebounder and has improved his offensive arsenal quite a bit from last year. |

If Rose had been playing all season like he has been in January (21.3 ppg, 8 apg) then he'd be an AS. That injury just kills his overall stats though. 16 PPG, 5 APG in Oct/Nov. |

Maybe if we get Lebron to make some comment to the media about how much of a travesty it is that Mo Wil- i mean Derrick Rose didn't make the all star roster, they'll randomly throw him in as a substitute |

Noah has 19 double-doubles on the season, ranking him in the top 10 in the NBA. The thought of possibly pairing Noah and Bosh (#1 in double-doubles) in the same front-court one day makes me giddy.

Iverson was voted in as a starter. If he plays, then probably no Rose.

Well Mo Williams is out for atleast a month so that could open up a spot for Rose maybe. I don't even know why Mo Williams is considered over Rose, Rose has better numbers and is a better overall player than Mo. The only reason would be because he's on a winning team which is a crock I think.. You pick the BEST players from the first half of the season and DRose deserves to be on there. If he weren't injured the first month of the season he'd be averaging 20 ppg and probably more. You can't tell me Rose isn't the top point guard in the East (Unless you consider Rondo) and you could argue with the way he's playing now he may be a top 5 PG overall in the league behind Paul, Williams, Nash, and maybe Billups.

Both Noah and Rose make the squad or it's a travesty.
