Man the 80's/early 90's are earily reshaping themselves in the East and if Atlanta gets a top 2 pick we could see the same teams being the powerhouses in the east. That is with the exception of New York who appears to be lost. But Detroit, Miami, Atlanta, Cleveland & Orlando we either strong in the late 80's or up and coming in the early 90's and it appears that that could be happening again.
Cleveland, Detriot, New York and Miami were always tough challenges for the Bulls and will likely remain that way for a few years. Also, Orlando seems to be an up and coming team much like they were in the early-mid 90's. Add to that an improving Atlanta team and we could have dejavu. Only thing really missing is the New York Knicks. Who knows! Maybe they find a way to get KG. |

Atlanta would have some talent, but they need some veteran leadership down there. That team just looked lost on the NBA floor.

Atlanta somewhat kind of reminds me of the Bulls when we just got BG and Deng. They are going to be a good team in a couple of years because of all their talent.
Give them a guy like Oden and hell I might even chalk them up for a playoff spot. |

Atlanta just needs to really hope they wind up in the top 3.
