I'm actually pretty pleased how this team did this season. getting outa the first round for the first time since Jordan, i've been waiting for this to happen forever, and it finally did.
what did you all think that we'd win the championship our first nice year since mj? please, i'm glad we made it out of first round. look above, holy cow if we can put this teamwork together with under 5 year experience for 80% of the team, then I can't wait to see what happens in the next 5 seasons lol

but sure we had a tough time against the pistons, any team would. to be able to have 5 solid positions

overall good season. great run, had a blast! cheers.gif

well you could have looked at it as Cleveland has a young roster too and will be making the conference finals. (which could have been the Bulls had they beat NJ the last game of the season.)

I'm more pissed at that than anything.

maybe 2nd best player currently in the league. I'm not even sure if he makes the top 25 ever just yet. Anyway, different debate.

Regardless if they have Lebron or not,

if the Bulls took care of Business against NJ, it would be Cleveland getting spanked in the 2nd round by Detroit.

It would have been HUGE to make the conference finals this year. That would have really put Bulls basketball back in the map.

The bulls will get some respect for beating Miami, however, lots of critics will point out that Miami was aging and
injury riddled.

I thought they would win atleast one round in the playoffs and they did so im happy but obviously not satisfied. I could take losing to Detroit if we would have atleast put up a fight, but were not.

I thought they had the talent to make it farther than this, thats why Im disappointed. I know it was only the regular season but we beat them three of four and we also destroyed Miami in the first round. I thought they could of went further.

Problem when we did beat them 3 out of 4 during the season, the Pistons were not 100% healthy and even though we did sweep Miami, the thing that will come up is that the Heat grew old fast and that Wade was not 100% to play. Healthy Wade and healthy aging team probably would have been a different story. I am glad that it appears that we have done a little better this season than the previous two by actually winning a playoff series however, there is still at least one if not two pieces of the puzzle still missing to make this team the contender we all want it to be.

Im happy with the way this team got to the next level. They swept the defending champions which is very encouraging and nearly won 50 games. Thats a big jump from last year. This team is a low post scoring presence away from reaching the NBA Finals in 2008.

Im dissappointed as most of you are about the results in this Detroit series.. but lets face it, Detroit is the better and more experienced team. They know what it takes to get deep in the playoffs.. we still don't. I truly believe we will not get swept.. they will win game 4 tommorow to show some pride, because thats how Paxson built this team. It will be Pistons in 5. So come tuesday night..we will start looking forward to the NBA lottery then the offseason..

What will Pax do? DOes he trade for a veteran? A big name guy like KG or Jermaine O'neil? Or does he draft a guy like Hibbert in the draft and hope for an immediate impact... only time will tell...

Good Season overall... But i expect MUCH MORE in 08!!

Overall, this is pretty much exactly where I wanted to see the Bulls get during the season. Add on some wins, grow up some, and win a damn playoff series. They even impressed me to do it so convincingly over the Heat, and they might have made the EC finals had they won that game against the Netropolitans.

That said...to answer the question in the subject...everyone is complaining because no matter what the schedule says, no matter what the timetable says, no matter what the experience numbers say...it is no fun at all to be embarassed. And these last couple games were embarassing.

This series has shown that the Bulls are one player away from dominance. If they can find a legitmate low post scorer, they are a 65 win team, and a finals contender.

Results?

I still think the Bulls are going to win this series against Detroit. We should have never lost that 3rd game. We should be up 3-2 right now. No matter. We win tomorrow and then there's a big buzz surrounding game 7. Wait and watch. No one's ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the NBA. Big deal. Its a tradition that's got to be broken now or later.

I really think that the Bulls are the better team. But then again I am biased because I've been a Bulls fan my whole life.

If we win tonight... the whole country is going to watch Game 7... and almost anyone not in Michigan will be rooting for Da Bulls.
