DraftExpress - A team source informed DraftExpress.com that the Chicago Bulls were blown away by Saer Sene's "athleticism, upside and speed" at a workout he recently conducted at the Berto Center.
According to the source, Sene "blew the roof off the workout" and is now considered a legitimate option for the Bulls at #16. Recent talk has the Phoenix Suns potentially packaging both of their picks (#21+#27) into the teens to draft him SAER SENE VIDEO: http://www.draftexpress.com/viewarticle.php?a=1358 |

After watching the video, to say he is super raw would be an understatement, but he is very worthy of a gamble at 16. He's got nice form and beginnings of what could be an unstoppable hook shot. At the very least, he would provide some great D off the bench, and his ceiling is high as any Center.

It may be a ploy to get the Suns to trade the #21 and #27 picks to the Bulls. With only 7 guys signed, and free agency not the best, the Bulls may get good players with those picks.
While Sene may be a defensive presence right away, I could see him picking up very quick fouls and sitting on the bench for long stretches by him being so raw and inexperienced. Is getting Sene better than getting two bigs like Hilton Armstrong and Alexander Johnson for the same price? |

Those two guys might not be around, but there really isn't that much difference between #16 and those picks. The talent level will be roughly the same, since all the potential difference makers will be long gone.

I would love to take Sene at 16, then we can take Roy at 2. The whole problem with taking Roy at 2 is your limit your options at 16 due to the lack of a big man the Bulls would like. If Sene is that guy this is golden.

Could also be a smokescreen with the number of teams after us that are reportedly in love with Sene.

Ever since I first heard about him I have wanted Sene with our 16th pick. In my mind a perfect draft would be Lamarcus Aldridge and Saer Sene. Than if there were a way we could pry Pietrus from the Warriors id be perfect heading into next season.

Wow, after watching that video of Sene, I was impressed. Yes he is raw, but unlike most foreign 7footers, he is very athletic. I also saw that he had a nice form on the few shots he took.
He also showed me that he knows how to defend in a way that the NBA referees would not call him a foul for. Oh and yeah, the guy obviously has mad blocking ability. I would like him at #16. Nice post. |

we need someone who can score Sene is not a good scorer, as a matter a fact hes worse than Ty Thomas offensive wise. I would snatch Carney if hes available, if not then Brewer, if not then Shannon Brown.
