Nice post. I've noticed with Tyrus, when he was playing scattered minutes he tried to do too much when he was out there and often played sloppy and out of control. But when he's gotten consistent minutes, he slows down on the offensive end and cuts his turnovers and really looks like he's confident, under control, and shooting better.

i don't know if it was just because it was the first game, but the bulls didn't get gooden the ball in the post nearly enough. he got the ball deep in the post twice and scored both times. the rest of the game he was out near the perimeter. we've been waiting for years for a quality post player and now we have one. boylan needs to make sure to get the ball to gooden in the post consistently.

great job by pax to unload wallace. i also think he may be trying to set up some pieces for a big trade in the offseason. guys like gooden, hughes, nocioni, gordon, and tyrus are all potential components in a deal for a big name player. i don't know who that could be, but it does seem like pax has many pieces to play with now. i can only hope it's an active offseason.

QUOTE (ben jordan @ Feb 21 2008, 01:38 PM) *
On ESPN they just announced that Larry Hughes could be coming to Chicago for Ben Wallace and Chris Duhon. What are your thoughts on this trade?

They said the players have no been notified yet, so it's not a done deal, but it is close to becoming offical. They have 40 minutes to get things done.

anyone have any info on hughes' contract? seems like this would be a good deal for the bulls depending on how long hughes is signed for
