Hell, after yesterday, the injury list is officially long enough for me to give it a thread.
Deng is out for a couple weeks. Gordon is said to be improving with that wrist of his. No idea when he'd be ready though. Joe Smith just had his knee drained for the 3rd time this season (and I'm sure that 30-35 minutes a game are just the cure for that) Duhon is going to be shut down for a couple more games, probably came back too early from his last injury. And now Thabo has an abdominal strain. |

Smith and Gordon are back, but the injury report continues. Tyrus Thomas sat out last night's game with a sprained left foot. And Hinrich left in the 4th quarter with bruised ribs.

Hinrich may be back for the next game, but now Duhon is sitting out practices again.

Wallace is out against the heat for personal reasons.
Thabo has a bad groin but is still planning on playing. From the trib: QUOTE Shorthanded again
K.C. Johnson, 12:30 p.m. Practice just ended at the Berto Center and Ben Wallace already has left town because of a death in his family. He won't be at Thursday's final game before the All-Star break, a 7 p.m. tipoff against the Heat. Thabo Sefolosha also skipped practice with a sore groin, although interim coach Jim Boylan said he'd play. He also will start alongside Chris Duhon again as Boylan sticks to his plan to make players earn their spots back. Boylan said Kirk Hinrich most likely would come off the bench for the second straight game against the Heat after recently missing three games with bruised ribs. |

Wallace is out against the heat for personal reasons. Thabo has a bad groin but is still planning on playing. From the trib: Is it sad that I'm happy Wallace won't be playing? I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm speaking from purely a team standpoint. Not personal. I'm sorry for the loss of his family member. I'm just glad he's not playing, though I wish it was for a different reason. |

QUOTE Aaron Gray dislocated his left ring finger in the first half and didn't return. Link.
Thabo Sefolosha missed Wednesday's practice and disclosed Thursday he had been battling a sore left groin for more than a week. The second-year guard, who started his 17th straight game against the Heat, said he never contemplated missing a game. "I have to play," Sefolosha said. "We have guys out and I also have to take advantage of my opportunity." |

I can forsee Thabo becoming a 15/6/6 guy down the road. He's one of the better rebounders on the team. I'd probably rate them like so..
1. Noah 2. Tyrus 3. Thabo 4. Wallace 5. Deng One thing he definitely needs to work on in the summer is ball security. He is too turnover prone. Work on his handles a bit and continue to improve on his mid range game he can be a complete player. |

Any updates on Gordon and Dengs status post all star break? Will they be back? According to today's Sun-Times, looks like they'll both play tonight against New Jersey: http://www.suntimes.com/sports/basketball/...-bull20.article Gordon, who will return to the lineup tonight after missing 12 of the last 14 games because of a sprained right wrist, said Tuesday he has given little thought to being traded. The Bulls also expect Luol Deng to return tonight after missing 12 games with left Achilles tendinitis. Deng participated in half of the team's two-hour-plus practice Tuesday.

He has been playing pretty well in that spot, and he deserves to stay there. |
