Yeah, the article basically says with the eventual loss of Sweetney and Brown that there is basically no risk in giving him a shot near the league minimum.

As long we are talking about him being somewhere between the 11th and 15th man on the roster, I am not too worried. It would give Skiles a scoring big man off of the bench, which he really hasn't had while he has been here.

Anything that could give us depth and height which is not named Sweetney or Allen at this point is a positive.
