We're still basically the youngest team in the league also, especially with all of our recent drafees and our key guy. We should be a tiny team compared to them.

amazing comeback... all i can say, i duno how we did that

Posted by: MB33 Nov 13 2008, 09:13 PM

i think were not even in the top 3 for the youngest team i see the blazers with a ton of talent and the hawks are probably younger than us!

Deng finally stepped up. Not to mention Gordon's awesome scoring prowess..

Well, we're not the youngest, but frankly we have as young of a core as anyone. We actually started the season the exact same average age as the Hawks. The younger teams are OKC, Portland, Memphis, and Charlotte. But again, that doesn't weight anything by how many minutes your key guys play. Our minutes leader right now is 19.

I think every game he get's exponentially better. It's amazing. He just gets the job done.

Posted by: CryptViLL Nov 13 2008, 09:26 PM

i dont think it matters how young a team is - but moreso how much quality it has. Rose = Quality.

Gordon + deng = Can really be quality.

The rest? Wasteful.

Posted by: Chicago Bulls Franchise Nov 13 2008, 09:36 PM

I think Ben Gordon touches 40 tonight.

Posted by: MB33 Nov 13 2008, 09:36 PM

Posted by: Sanitarium Nov 13 2008, 09:46 PM

there may be at least one double double tonight

Posted by: CryptViLL Nov 13 2008, 09:48 PM

bulls playing good tonight!

Posted by: MB33 Nov 13 2008, 09:53 PM

Posted by: AtHomeBoy_2000 Nov 13 2008, 09:54 PM

And that play right there is why Gordon and ROse can never co-exist for very long. BUlls with a lead... trying to run a specific play... Rose asks for the ball.... Gordon blows him off and tries to be the star.... drives into a wall of defenders and turns it over.

Gordon wont settle for second fiddle. As Rose asserts himself and takes over the team, Ben's not gonna be very happy. His ego is too big.

Exactly!!!

im no gordon hater, i enjoy him, but i think he will have great trade value, and could net us a person we need or a draft pick we need

Posted by: CryptViLL Nov 13 2008, 10:02 PM

good game. watched the first 4 minutes and thought it was over.

Posted by: MB33 Nov 13 2008, 10:08 PM

not bad

Posted by: Brian Nov 13 2008, 10:30 PM

Carlisle is the wrong guy for that Dallas team. No way they should be walking the ball up. They are a run and gun squad.

I don't know if there is a particularly good answer to fix that team right now. The last few years they've actually been a more half-court team and it worked because Nowitzki and Howard can both make plays and Terry could spot up well. They could push the pace at times, but couldn't really sustain it because their studs weren't really big runners, they didn't have a real pass-first point and their defense didn't force a lot of turnovers. Then they added Jason Kidd and really screwed things up. Even though he's past his prime Kidd can still make plays in transition, but no one is trying to keep up with him. They also can't really play a slower half-court game anymore because Kidd can't stay in front of anyone on defense and isn't an effective driver anymore. I'm sure they'll keep the team together because they're still skilled enough to be a playoff threat (though it wouldn't surprise me if they missed them), but the right answer just might be to move Dirk and/or Howard for a good package of youngsters while they still can and just let Kidd's contract expire.
