The Bulls are the cheapest team in the league. They refuse to go over the cap at any cost. It's pathetic. Money led to the trade of Brand. Money led to the trade of Chandler and $ will eventually lead to the loss of at least one die hard fan if this bullshit keeps up. The Bulls didn't not trade for Gasol b/c the didn't want to lose talent. They didn't trade for Gasol b/c they didn't want to pay the money. It's sad guys. The Bulls are fortunate to have one of the most loyal fan bases in the country. Whether they win 10 or 60 they still pack the house. So why care about the fans. Why care about winning, about putting a real team on the floor. If it means paying extra (even if that means luxury status) to afford a star and still have Deng or some of your other good pieces left and a legit chance of winning titles then your team is not the Bulls. You'd rather be a fan of the Celtics or some other team that cares about their fans. I'm getting real tired of watching all these other teams actually try and build a championship while the Bulls only try and build playoff team. They add Joakim Noah and Joe Smith and expect to keep that fans happy. It's freakin pathetic. And what do we do, we get excited and think we have a chance of winning titles. I don't know who's more dumb. Us Bulls fans for getting our hopes up every year that we'll be better, or us Bulls fans for still being Bulls fans with the garbage that Jerry feeds us each year. |
