The Del Negro watch was on in the Windy City even before the Atlanta debacle, as the Bulls came off a home defeat to the lowly Nets on Tuesday. Nobody in Chicago's locker room would say it directly, but the players have lost faith.

Not that I'm in favor of Bickerstaff or anything...but clearly this team is not responding to Vinny at all. Personally...I'd make a HUGE push at Doug Collins about right now or at least gauge interest. Looking back...maybe Thibodeau was the better alternative. But this cannot continue to go on..

I like the guy, but he's gotta go. The Bulls are pretty close to being a train wreck. Would love to see Doug Collins back...maybe Van Gundy.

You'd think that with a player like rose you could at least hover around 500 like the Hornets/Heat. Not saying we're anywhere near as good as Miami but you would think wed be able to win the easy games and with a team full of passionate youngsters not get blown out like that on the road

I don't see the point. There is nobody out there to get. Byron Scott? Meh.. He aint gonna be here anyway at the start of next year and Bickerstaff is an awful coach, just let him finish out the season, whatever our record may be. Hell, if we keep this up we might have a shot at the #1 pick again.

VDN's response: "Being a coach is hard work".
QUOTE
"It's easy to sit back on the sidelines and everyone has all these great ideas," Del Negro said. "People think they know what they're talking about. But until you live it and do it, no one has an idea.

"All you (media) guys have to write and do your job and come up with stories and that's all great. But you guys really don't know what it's like--because you've never done it. I'm a fighter. We fight as a team and stick together as a team. All you can control is your effort and preparation and the opportunity that's ahead of you."
