Bulls are terrible. They'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

He's looking like the Noah that showed up in the Cleveland series a few years ago where he was doing 20-20s and s***.

Wish I could see this thing. I saw a minute of live look-in and was suddenly reminded of why I like Kirk Hinrich.

From the glimpse I got plus the statlines, looks like we should be pleased with Kirk, Rip, Joakim especially so far

Noah is playing like an All-Star right now.

Bulls get 3rd seed behind Miami and Boston.

Rose returns in December.

Welcome to Chicago, Mr. Harden?

QUOTE (Balta1701-B @ Aug 22 2012, 05:01 PM) *
Unfortunately, it's next to impossible for the Bulls to get him. They won't be under the cap far enough to offer him a reasonable deal, and their only trading asset with a close to expiring contract any time soon will be Luol Deng.

If there's one position where I'm pretty sure the Thunder have no need of a high priced player, it's small forward.

They cold go all Miami 2010 and drop everyone but Rose, Noah, Deng, Gibson, and Butler (in that order).

Would they have room if they did that (Gibson would have a decent $8M or so contract, Booz would be amnestied.

PG: Rose/Teague (I'd figure they'd keep him)
SG: Harden/Butler
SF: Deng/Butler
PF: Gibson/Mirotic
C : Noah

I'd enjoy that very much.

So, I assume everyone else is like me and doesn't keep too up to date on this board because it is the offseason.

A good way to keep it going I think would be to check it once a week, and post just a little bit.

I'm ok with this. He serves the J4L role. He's played for Thibs before, so Thibs probably supported this.

And I'd be ok with TMac. If he acts up, well, cut him. His skills are there, just not his athleticism. So, now he's a homeless mans TMac, but can help the Bulls. I also really want to sign Malcom Thomas. He's basically Taj Lite, so would be a good addition to the end of the bench.

PG - Hinrich/Robinson/Teague [Rose]
SG - Rip/Bellinelli/TMac
SF - Deng/Butler/Radmonovic
PF - Boozer/Gibson/Thomas
C - Noah/Nazr

And yes, I think this team with returning Rose can make some noise. It all depends on if Thibs can get the Bench Mob 2.0 to have the same chemistry as The Original Bench Mob.

They do really need to pay him.

Rose likes him. Team buys into his philosophy.

He just needs to ease off Deng's legs.

I think Bellinelli is a slight upgrade over Korver.

Kirk-Watson is a wash.

Butler > Brewer in my mind.

Taj is Taj

Teague > JL3

Asik > Mohammad

I don't see why this is so bad...

Jimmy still looking good.

We Thomas needs to be the 5th big. Dude reminds me of Taj, shorter but with better athleticism.

PG - Hinrich/Teague [Rose]
SG - Rip/Bellinelli
SF - Deng/Butler/Radmonovic
PF - Boozer/Gibson/Thomas
C - Noah/Asik-Nazr-Stiemsma-Darko (whoever is signed)

I think that team can tread water until Rose returns and if Rose does his otherworldly things and is back to being himself by the playoffs, I'll be happy.

JaJuan Johnson, though once again I dont watch Purdue basketball so I dont know if hes considered a C in the league. I'm just speculating since the Rockets plan on letting go of these guys and one already said he's going to Chicago then why not make it for a sign and trade.

I'd rather have Stiemsma out of Wisconsin over Johnson though.

Nah, wasn't it Hummel or something?

If you read the other thread I started you'll know I know nothing about these guys, other than I seem to remember some people wanting the Bulls to take Moore in the draft last year. I'm just going off what I read about Houston not keeping those 2 guys and the fact that they want Asik. I also read that Moore expects to be a Bull after his release, thus why not make things easier and just sign and trade Asik.

Well, them and who else did you want from Purdue? I know there was one more.

Still mad we didn't grab Denmon.

Calling it right now, Asik for E'twuan Moore and/or JuJaun Johnson....

I'm pretty sure you want Purdue players on this team more than I wanted Marcus Denmon.
