Tyrus is just going to have to be involved with help defense. Also we have to slow down Turkoglu who seemingly always has a big game against us.

I was surprised by some of the no calls on the refs today, maybe that no flop rule is being taken to heart. Also I guess the less defense you play the less you will foul too lol.

Time to find out if we can close out games this season or not lol, it seemed everytime we had a lead last season we would blow it in the 4th.

Not very good. They can score a bit but have numerous defenders that are average or worse, little depth, and below average PG play.

I wouldnt say they are a pushover though, definitely not a playoff team.

We definitely need to improve on the defensive rebounding department, getting abused down there. Besides that, just some stupid turnovers on offense but overall not too bad of a start for the Bulls.

If we could keep Deng id be all for grabbing Gasol. Id assume we would definitely keep Kirk too since they have the pg of their future too.

I love Nocioni because he stretches the floor with his 3 point shooting... but sometimes he is a very annoying player.. i wish Skiles had a quicker leash on him.

I think Aldridge is definitely better no question ask... but to be fair I think the way Skiles has used Thomas is kind of bogus. Even Noah who I think has performed great while out there seems to go games without making an appearance or for like 5 minutes.

I have no problems losing Thomas if it helps us land Gasol. If we dont reverse this losing soon, because we only play bobcats and hawks so much I think we will also have to start looking towards next year too. Because right now we looking at a top draft pick in a draft loaded with guards.

Good point, the Celtics couldn't pull it off either... rolleyes.gif

Well difference is they were able to keep their best player(Pierce) and add another star in Allen. We would of lost Deng and didnt have what it took to get Allen either.

Yeah, I have to say Wallace was definitely the biggest mistake Paxson has made. Not that I think Chandler was the definite answer but I was always a big backer of his and never really cared for Wallace... but oh well.

Im sorry I dont even want to give up 2 of those 4 players in any trade let alone all 4. Id maybe be fine with Gordon, Noah, and Nocioni but even than not a huge fan.

I still no see no reason why we dont bring back Gordon and Deng lol... and like said before if for some reason we deal Gordon than id assume who we got back would emerge as the "Robin"

That's true unless that wrist is a little more injured than we believe.

Lol it would have to be a lot more injured than we believe for him not to be next in line.

I wonder how long it might be until we see a line up like this.

PG: Thabo
SG: Deng
SF: TT
PF: Noah
C: Wallace

That will be a whole lot of LOOOOONG arms in the passing lanes.

If we ever try that Thabo/Deng/TT better all learn how to shoot a good 3 pointer.

I'm sorry, but there is no way I dislike Tyrus more than you hate Hinrich. Not even close. I at least acknowledge his potential and acknowledge good games.

Not really you always make excuses like it was at the end of the game or wasnt agains the starters or some crap. Even when he has outstanding games you have something negative to say. I know there is a bunch of homers on this site and just in general, but lay off the hatorade and enjoy the performances he is having so far in the summer league bullssmilie1.jpg

We'd be quite a bit worse without Kirk too. You'd have to either replace him with Duhon, who can't score and would essentially make it 2 on 5 on the offensive end (assuming Tyrus plays PF, though so far in summer league he looks like less of a liability, albiet against weaker competition), or Thabo where you take a hit in scoring AND the ball-handling.

Yes, Gordon's scoring would be harder to replace since he is better at creating his own shot, but it's not exactly easy to find a well-rounded PG that can make shots, defend, and distribute the ball either...

No doubt Kirk is a damn good player and an important part of our team, but if we are going to take one of them off the team we would be able to survive much more without Kirk than we would without Gordon.

The question wasn't who the best scorer was. IMO Kirk means a lot more than Ben to this team.

Without Gordon we would be a bad team unless of course we got someone that can replace his scoring either from the inside or outside. I love Kirk but Gordon is by far the more valuable player to this team and its not really all that close either.

Stinks that we won't get to see how Noah and Tyrus work together.

Honestly I dont think at the same time both of them will be on the court this year anyways, so its no biggy. Im more looking forward to see how Tyrus/Thabo have improved their games especially offensively and than seeing what Gray/Curry can do.

I would of considered taking Yi with the 3rd overall pick so of course Id love to get him. Im higher on Noah than most but if we could ship him and a 1st or like Duhon to the Bucks for Yi I would be so over that. The kid is going to be special in this league.

Perfect opportunity to sign and trade either Noc or trade Duhon for Darko, just figure out a way to make him a Bull. If we go into this season gaining Darko and only losing one I dont care actually if we lose both ill be happy. And we still would have a lot of depth.

I would of liked it if Brandon Wright or Yi fell to us, but still with how we got 2 really solid contributers in the 2nd round Id have to rate this a pretty damn good draft. Noah is going to surprise some people on this board as well.
