That's be something else if the Bulls pulled a Red Sox. Doubt it will happen, but it would be great.
Well, the Bulls are a relentless team, I hope, and I don't think they are going to give up so easy. If they could at least force a game 7, I'd be happy. Oh, only if they didn't blow game 3... |

Bulls up 21 at the end of 3. They are playing great. If they can hang on and win game 5 in Detroit this could become a very interesting series. Too bad they couldn't hold the big lead in game 3.
Anyway, I'll give it to Kirk. He's playing great. He's being aggressive and he has 6 free throw attempts. That's huge. Not to mention he's distributing the ball. Why can't Kirk do this every game. Then I wouldn't dislike him. Hopefully, this leads to future playoff success in the series. Eventually, Gordon is going to have a big game. Hopefully he can get on track the rest of the series. Where's Ben Wallace? Bulls are struggling with 9 minutes and Wallace isn't in the game. 8:43 Wallace comes in. Come on Bulls. Don't let this lead slip away. Up 12 with 7:45 left. |

Looks like the Bulls might be able to hold onto this one, but Detroit is making it interesting. I wouldn't be surprised to see them blow this after game 3. Come on guys, make it a little respectable.

Kirk with the dumb bobble turnover in the corner but he makes up with the big defensive play on Billups.
Gordon with the huge 3. Bulls up 10 with 3+ minutes left. Gordon has had 2 huge 3's this second half. Bulls win. I thinks it's safe to say with 1:51 to play. Ben Wallace with the huge free throws. Gordon with the big 3. I agree that PJ would have been nice for at least a portion of the 4th. However, even though Tyrus didn't hit the jumpers he still played pretty good. |

No sweep for the hated Pistons, anyway.
One game at a time. How sweet would it be to scare 'em spiffless with a surprise Game 5 win? |

However, it wouldn't surprise me if we did it and I don't think they would be to surprised. They know the Bulls are a good team. The Bulls haven't really had much offense come from Deng or Gordon (although the numbers indicate a good performance from both) and I think Gordon will go off next game. I can't wait. Minus the jump shots, Tyrus also played well with 7 boards in just under 14 minutes. If the Bulls win game 5 the United Center will be jumping for game 6. |

They tried their best to blow it, but failed to do so...
Faze 1 of Operation Red Sox Basketball style is complete. |

I think I've seen them all so far okay. Well I'm glad your vision is ok. I'll give it to Tyrus, he has a few big boards but he was trying his best to give it away with those quick jumpers and the TO's. Kirk really stepped up, glad to see him carry the Bulls to a victory today and keep the composure in the 4th. He played some phenomenal defense against Rip and Chauncey all game. |
