Make of it what you will, but Broussard is a known friend of LeBron and has regular contact with him. This certainly brought a smile to my face.

yeah this def got bulls fans excited today, especially if we really are his first choice if he leaves cleveland. I was rooting for them to win the championship, but now that i saw this i want them to lose tomorrow to force lebron out.

OMG Please let this happen! I've been hearing the past few weeks about Lebron coming to Chicago and it's picking up a lot of steam. The best thing to happen to us may be that Boston destroys Cleveland tomorrow night to take the series. If that happens I can almost guarantee you Lebron wants out of Cleveland. Why in the hell would he go to NY anyways? What do they have there? Oh yeah, nothing. Team up with Rose and Noah Lebron, form a dynasty and I promise you you will be able to compare rings to Jordan. How awesome would that be for the Bulls to have the top 2 best players of All-Time #1 MJ #2 LBJ.

Also in KC's article today he noted that Rose and Calipari were in Cleveland to watch the Celtics Cavs game yesterday! Come on Bulls! Sign Calipari, sign Lebron, form a dynasty!

QUOTE
Sarcasm is the only way to stomach the LeBron-mania that swept through Chicago on Wednesday after ESPN's Chris Broussard made the media rounds, including a stop on WMVP-AM 1000's Afternoon Saloon, saying James has given thought to leaving the Cavaliers for the Bulls when he becomes a free agent on July 1.

And I've given thought to succeeding Vinny Del Negro as Bulls coach. Doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Sure, it could. (James coming to the Bulls, not me coaching them.) And, yes, the Bulls will investigate James' interest, particularly after he made complimentary comments of both the roster and the city during the regular season and the Cavaliers-Bulls first-round playoff matchup.

But anybody speculating on what any of the prime free agents will do six weeks from now is doing exactly that. And that's not a knock on Broussard, who's plugged in, a friend and possesses a mean jumper himself.

But the reaction to his comments — made, in his words, "from talking to a lot of people around LeBron" — was about as accurate as a Murray 3-pointer.
KC. Seems liek the only point of this article is to throw water on the idea.

Add Chad Ford and three alleged GMs who think Bron is on his way to Chicago...2 of which believe Calipari will be the Bulls next HC. They also discuss believing the Bulls will "go for it" in dealing Deng and pieces for Bron while adding Bosh/Wade in FA.

Yeah, I can imagine...and on paper it kinda does work. I'm just not sure if either the Raptors or the Cavs will bite on Deng. If I were them, I wouldn't, but then again, I wouldn't have signed Turkoglu.

"Look for them to offer the Cavs Luol Deng in a sign-and-trade for LeBron. "

I always assumed Lebron would just walk. But a sign and trade works out best for him

I highly doubt Cleveland trades Lebron to a division rival. From what I've read Cleveland has no interest at all in entertaining a sign and trade for Lebron. Of course, that may change between now and July 1st but I don't expect them to trade Lebron for Luol Deng. If we do indeed get Lebron I see him possibly being our starting 2 guard with Luol as the SF. I don't think anyone wants Luol's contract..
