QUOTE On the eve of the Bulls honoring Johnny "Red" Kerr's 35 years of service, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced Kerr as the 2009 recipient of the John W. Bunn Lifetime Achievement Award. Link.
The award, originated in 1973, is the Hall's most prestigious honor outside of enshrinement. Many longtime basketball experts have bemoaned Kerr's exclusion from the Hall. "There are few people who have committed their lifetime to the game as Johnny has done," said John L. Doleva, Hall of Fame president and CEO. "He has touched every facet of basketball and has done so with an unmatched passion, dedication, professionalism and respect for the game he loves." Previous recipients include John Wooden, Ray Meyer and Red Auerbach. |

For wanting Amare a lot's sake I hope Tyrus just goes off tonight. Of course then I'll rethink it even more. Oh well. Detroit has sucked for a while now, hopefully we can beat them up tonight and Stuckey doesn't kill us again.

Tyrus always performs well against Detroit, I expect another double double tonight. Hopefully Kerr will be watching!

I'm not watching, but please someone tell me that the clapping sound I heard on the radio before Mike asked if he dirtied Red up involved powder on Mike's hands.
