QUOTE If nothing else, Larry Hughes is consistent. Adamant in his stance that he's a high-minutes starter since the February day the Bulls traded for him, Hughes expressed frustration over his playing time for the second time in five weeks Saturday as Thabo Sefolosha started for the injured Luol Deng in the 129-117 loss to Atlanta. "I don't accept it, but I deal with it," Hughes said. When Hughes last spoke out Nov. 18 in Los Angeles, it prompted a meeting among himself, coach Vinny Del Negro and general manager John Paxson. he gone. im tired of listening to him. |

Does he walk after this year... or does he have another year on his deal after this one?

Mike McGraw's blog had a pretty good reference to KC's column:
"Since the purpose of this blog is to share information, I'd like to mention that I work under the assumption every basketball player at any level wants more playing time. So I see no reason to run up to guys who get their court time cut hoping they'll say something controversial. If you disagree, feel free to send a note." |

I'd rather just keep Hughes for his expiring contract. I don't want to trade him for some guy making money like his that has more than 1 year left on his deal. We need to do everything we can to clear cap space for the summer of 2010. That's they only shot we have at getting better fast. Otherwise, it will be a long process going through a lot of mediocrity with the current players we have.
