Rahim would make a good pickup but at what cost? If when can give them those 2nd rounds picks and Sweetney back I say do it. But if we gotta get rid of Duhon, i say no way.

Dont believe for a minute that JR isnt in Paxson's ear. He is the one that told Pax to go visit Ben Wallace, when Paxson was getting ready to sign Joel Pryzbilla. So if JR tells Paxson to make something happen believe Paxon will try to make it happen, plus I think he knows he cannot sign Hinrich, Deng, and Gordon to max contracts so one of them will be sacraficed.

Best big man on a team that consisted of Chandler, Sweetney and Harrington.....that is not hard to do. He is limited in the fact that he has no true low post game, does not play very good defense in the post, not very mobile, and for a big man he plays the outside way too much. He is however a very good spot up shooter and can give you a spark of the bench.

Are the Bulls promising a long term contract to Songalia, I think that would be a mistake. He is very limited in what he brings to the table.

That was because Songalia added more offensive to the starting unit that Chandler. Now if Thabo comes in and shoots well and plays great D at the 2, then Ben should be nervous.

Can you say LUXURY tax, which you have to pay a certain percentage for the amount you over the cap. The cool thing is that Reinsdorf said he is willing to pay the tax if the Bulls are it title contention and can win championships.

I heard rumblings that Paxson is considering bringing him back, but I know other teams are looking at adding his services too. I expect him to go where the money is greener, and that wont be Chicago.

I have to agree with you guys, the Bulls need no more PGs......we had 3 last year and not enough minutes to go around. I say if we get hit with injuries down the road sign one then not now and to a 10 day contract.

No worries, Pax knows how to manage his money. He waits until the new salary cap numbers are released. He did the same last year and the year before.

I agree that he wont start unless 1). Ben Gordon leaves, 2.) Skiles plays favorites or 3.) Ben agrees to become the next Vinnie "the Microwave" Johnson.

I think the only way Ben Gordon is involved in a trade is if it is for KG. Then again I dont think any of us would mind that move. biggrin.gif Can you imagine a front line of Deng, KG and Big Ben.....WOW!!

I know Aldridge would fit perfectly at PF next to Wallace. He has a nice post game and could have focused more on the offense.

Othella was good enough at the time, but he was limited. The Bulls have out grown him. This is just another sign that Pax is making room for another post player.

Wilcox is too similar to Wallace....we need a offensive PF, who can create his own shot....and get us about 15-20 pts a game.

Sweetney has the skills and the talent, but he is lazy. He has to be willing to work and work hard. I think we all agree on with the weight loss, if can get down to about 235....and comes to play he will definitely be a player to be reckon with.
