Detroit sends BG and a protected pick for Maggette, per Woj

I miss BG. He'll score a fishton next year though.

Interesting, he might score enough to keep them from having the worst team in the league.

Maggette used to be a helluva player, but last year was a fairly large step backwards. He might be cooked, but obviously Detroit doesn't seem to think so.

Boozer + Cats Pick + 29 for Gordon + 2?

I'd enjoy that if it could ever happen (but it won't). Get Robinson and get this:

PG - MLE (Most likely Kirk)/Watson
SG - Rip/Gordon
SF - Deng/Butler
PF - Robinson/Gibson
C - Noah/Asik

It's the baby bulls, but with a frontcourt and Rose on the way back.

The Bobcats might do that if you weren't asking for the #2 pick back. Boozer's contract would be a ton of extra money for them to take on. They took on Gordon's money because they got a draft pick back.

That's a crap for crap trade right there. I guess you favor Charlotte because they got a pick.

Charlotte took on extra money in exchange for a protected pick, Detroit cleared $12 million off their 2013/2014 payroll.

Never really been a Maggette fan. He can get to the line, but that is about it. BG can probably still put up points in bunches on a team with a wide-open depth chart like Charlotte.

I agree.

The off-chance that that Bobcats pick winds up a #1 isn't worth trading Boozer when he can be amnestied next year.

Yeah, maybe now Kemba will take fewer shots - which is a good thing.

BG is still a good shooter, he was just in a terrible situation because he signed with a fucked up Detroit.

If he was with the Bulls, he'd be our #2.

I loved the move for Charlotte because Ben will show up and work everyday....plus he can average 20ppg on that squad, which is something they need more than anything.

He'd only play 20 minutes a game because his defense makes Carlos Boozer look like he deserved those votes for the All-Defense team
