Any updates on the top guys? I'm not much of a college basketball fan.

Any updates on the top guys? I'm not much of a college basketball fan. Nothing of note after my last one really. Only thing I can thing of is that Georgetown is going down the tubes and Monroe isn't doing a whole lot to stop it. He's highly skilled, but he's also pretty soft and not aggressive enough (though part of it may be that the Princeton offense isn't designed for post players). This class looks brutal though, so he won't slide very far. In a normal draft the guys at 4 and below would struggle to crack the top-10. |

So what you're saying is this could be an ideal year to not have our 1st round pick? |

So what you're saying is this could be an ideal year to not have our 1st round pick? Pretty much. Griffin, Rubio, Harden and maybe Holliday are the only ones that look like early contributors (and I guess Thabeet on D if he stays out of foul trouble), and we don't need Rubio. After that it's mostly developmental guys that may/may not help us in the near future. |

I doubt Rubio makes himself eligible. He would have to pay 5 or 6 mill (I forget the number) to his Euro team. He should just stay, but maybe he decides to rush it. Assuming he's not in the class, this year's draft is going to be really, really weak.
