Enough said. Along with the players moving the Bulls could also throw in a couple of 2nd round picks to either Memphis or Utah, and possibly even a 2008 first round pick to Memphis. |

so the bulls give up Tyrus, Kirk, and Noc
and wind up with Pau Gasol, Giracek, Deron Williams,a nd i guess chucky atkins?? that's a dream for the bulls, but its also so fucked to think we'd get deron williams and pau gasol by only giving up the three guys you have there. keep dreaming, edwin I dont see why the Jazz would ever want to deal Deron Williams to downgrade... |

This wouldn't happen in a million years. And Paxson wouldn't do it in a millions years. That's like starting from scratch again.

crazy trade, wud NEVER happen. Why would any of the 3 teams be opposed? Utah maybe. But they don't play Giricek much and Dee Brown is like 4th on the depth chart. They get rid or Giricek's $4 million. So they really are only giving up Deron Williams for Kirk & Hakim. Utah could use a young talent like off the bench. Hakim Warrick who can play the 3/4 and is explosive. Getting Warrick also makes the overpaid Andrei Kirilenko more expendable. They could trade AK47 to another team for a large expiring contract and some picks. (Possibly the Knicks) Also, the Bulls could add a 2nd rounder or 2 to accomplish the deal. Memphis would be happy getting Nocioni, Tyrus, Dee Brown, & P.J. & possibly a couple second round picks or the Bulls 1st round pick for 2008. Memphis saves money in the deal b/c P.J. comes off the books. Memphis also gets younger and 2 defensive oriented players. Tyrus is the key to the deal. Memphis doesn't mind losing Atkins who is in his final year. This trade can be tweeked somewhat with draft picks or other minor player changes to better suit each team. But I think as it stands all 3 teams benefit from this trade. |

Pax started his rebuliding by finding guys from winning college programs (Hinrich in 03), and others as well, but with this deal he's just supposed deal him out....don't think so...

Paxson would be on that faster than you would be on a fat woman. My point is, 3-team, 10 player trades don't happen very often. We all know Paxson is weary of trading vital parts of the team and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't replace 1/3 of the roster. Besides, Utah would never let it get to this point. |

pj duhon and noc would be nice, but the griz are gonna want someone who has a shot at being an all star and put some ppl in the seats......besides they already have mike miller and rudy gay to play sf
i could see something like noc, duhon, pj, and tyrus for pau and atkins but i'd rather just give up gordon than tyrus and noc |

No way a deal like this happens for several reasons:
1) The logistics of a 3-team 10 player (probably plus) deal are just brutal, it would be extremely difficult to get all of the teams to agree to the players involved. 2) This assumes that the teams would actually trade all of the players involved, which seems unlikely. Williams, Warrick, Hinrich, and Thomas all appear to be high value players for their teams that will not be moved. 3) Utah wouldn't touch this deal. They give up a good young young PG that is cheap for 2 more years and get back a guy that plays the same position, makes about 2 1/2 times as much (pretty sure that $3.19 salary is innaccurate), and isn't as good, and another combo forward that probably isn't as good as Kirilenko. They have no real motivation to do the deal, it fills no holes and increases their payroll. What they could really use is a solid defensive SG that can stick the occasional 3 since Williams and Okur are their only real threats from out there and the former doesn't shoot that hot a percentage. Considering they're winning, they're not too likely to deal their starting PG, and then try to move one of their starting forwards as well. Plus Boozer would probably be the one to go since they've been trying to deal him for 2 years and would probably find a taker at a very high value right now. Kirilenko would be much harder to move, since his contract is large and his stats are down this year (largely because Boozer is healthy and has taken on a much larger role). 3) Memphis likely wouldn't like this deal either. That package would be a fairly reasonable demand for just Gasol, they're not going to throw in Warrick as well for just Dee Brown and a future first rounder, especially since he'd be in line for heavy minutes with Gasol on his way out. 4) The Bulls are getting the two best players in the deal and make out like bandits. That's simply not going to happen anywhere outside of an NBA Live or NBA 2k7 game. |
