Anyone else here the talking heads on TNT tonight give their great trade idea?
Deng, Noch and Thomas to the T Wolves for Garnett.

That trade is rediculous on so many levels.

To me, deng is untradeable. Tyrus is pretty much untradeable bc of his upside.
Noch is by far my favorite bull, so I just hope he isnt traded, but would understand.

Anyone else with me on this one???

Not a chance we give up two of the big 4 and Tyrus. Analysts generally aren't the best people for trade proposals...

I'd love to get Kevin Garnett, but that's just insane.

I doubt we make that deal...we wouldn't give up 2 of the big three and Tyrus. However, if we found a way to get a SF in a 3 team deal (to replace one of Deng/Noc) to go with Garnett, than I think we'd consider it.

All that said, the Wolves are not going to deal KG.

laugh.gif That wasn't a proposal. Lol. They were talkign about a possible deal between the Bulls and Grizzlies for Gasol and they started tossing out names. Then Reggie Miller mentioned how we should go after Garnett, and they said the same names.

Umm, somebody was confused then in a lot of ways...

On a side note, Garnett is one of my favorite players, but I'd rather have Gasol. He's quite a bit younger, cheaper, and though Garnett is the better player Gasol isn't exactly a scrub.

The exact quote was something close to:

"And Gasol might be a a player the Bulls are after for that role (consistent scorer down low). [We've heard]/they have [about] Deng, Nocioni...and even Tyrus Thomas who could be involved."

What are you talking about? of course its not a proposal bc it came from tnt analysts.

So then what are you asking? There was no proposal. Like I said, they just threw out names.

Basically, a long-winded version of "They want Gasol. They have Deng, Noc, Gordon, and Thomas."

Deng, tyrus, and pj for obvious reasons, maybe even the pick...I'd probably do it, even though I luv Deng and don't wanna see him go...

Possibly overvaluing KG, but I'd just luv to have him in a Bulls uniform...

I think Gasol would come a lot cheaper than KG. If I'm Pax...I wouldn't be in a big hurry to deal any of the 4 of Deng, Gordon, Noc or Tyrus...especially when you get a glimpse of what they can do when motivated and playing well like last night. I really don't want Garnett that bad. Gasol...I'm a little iffy on. Maybe straight up for Deng...but I wouldn't give up very much more besides maybe Deng and a 1st. I really don't think Pax does anything at this point without knowing what pick you're gonna have.
