Also Tuesday, the Nets said star point guard Jason Kidd will miss the next two games because of a back strain. The Nets had no information on whether he’ll play in Las Vegas.

Could this be Ben or Lu's chance to go to Vegas?

If Kidd doesn't play, and neither Gordon nor Deng replace him, that will be the biggest load of crap. However, I have confidence the Association will get it correct. Gosh I hope Kidd pulls out, so we can have a Bull on the roster. I might actually watch for the first time in like 5 years.

Interesting development. I have always watched the All-Star game and I was hoping to see the league's two best point guards (Kidd & Nash) go at it again, but now both will be out. The only thing that can make up for it will be to send Deng or Gordon get in the game.

Off-Topic: What is with all these injuries at the All-Star game this year?

This is a total no brainer, if Kidd doesn't make the squad you have to give the nod to one of the Bulls young players (Gordon or Deng).

I think Stern will pick one of Deng/Gordon if for nothing else having a Bull in the game should help them ratings wise, it never hurts having the city of Chicago represented not to mention one of the most popular teams in the league.

I've heard some Kidd/Lakers rumors as well, but looking at the teams involved, the contracts just don't work at all. If the Lakers don't include Kobe or Odom...they wind up having to include like 4 or 5 players just to match the contracts.

Apparently Joe Johnson was picked to replace Jason Kidd today.

Well, all the injuries have killed what could have been a great All-Star game, and the lack of a Bulls representative stings. I'll probably still watch, but it sucks that the Bulls could not get one player.
