Watching the last few games i question the rotations that we are playing. I feel like when we put brown and wallace on the court at the same time it really takes away from our spacing. No one respects their offensive skills so our guards and small forward are always being hounded. I noticed in this last game againt atlanta in the third quarter when pj went to the bench and noc came in, we were up 53 - 49 with 6 minutes left and ended up leading 70-59 in the half. I wish the whole elbow incidence never happend to noc because he has been out of the starting lineup since. I agree with gordon being in the starting lineup, the beginning of the season was just typical ben in november. But i feel if we put noc back in the lineup we really play a lot better ball. Basically i just would like to see brown and wallace not on the court at the same time except for a few minutes unless we just have to because of the matchup. What you all think ?

While I think PJ does have some offensive skill and has put some decent scoring games together lately, i agree that the offense can be stagnant with both ben and PJ out there, as PJ only seems to be able to score about once a week
There are a couple problems with putting Noc back in the starting lineup. 1) It'd be nice to have one of your scorers come off the bench. That's been the wisdom with Noc and Ben switching places back and forth this year. 2) Noc Himself admitted that the front line is too small with him and wallace starting together. I also think Noc and Deng were playing better with Gordon coming off the bench, bc it gave them a chance to get into the offense b4 gordon starts dominating the ball. Gordon also seems to play better off the bench, though it's not a huge difference. Here's the rotation I'd like to see. Starting 5-Hinrich, Thabo, Deng, Noc, PJ with Gordon wallace tyrus and malik/sweets finishing off the rotation WHAT?!?!??! Bench Ben wallace? Yes. Noc is too small to start alongside Wallace, bc as far as i understand they are basically the same height (6'7) PJ has been our best defensive player this year in the paint and is big enough to make up for noc and deng not really being 4s. PJ at center also means they start 5 offensive players. His jump shot has to be respected, so he can step outside and open the middle for deng and noc and thabo to slash to the hoop. Bringing gordon off the bench is what will make the bulls a special team (if no trades are made). They have a competitive starting 5 and then, whoa, a 20ppg game just shows up fashionably late. |

Offensively he's better than Wallace, yet not much of a low post scorer (PJ scores more with his jump shot) but his play as of late has been a welcome addition. |

any starting 5 involving Thabo at this point is a terrible mistake... he just isn't ready yet.

As much as I truly loathe PJ's play, it's actually been above the rancid line lately.
