Oden should dominate us, since we can't stop big men from doing such.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-081118-chicago-bulls-los-angeles-lakers,0,7484124.story may miss tonight's game after tweaking his groin yesterday. Which also explains some of his play yesterday.

QUOTE
Worse, the Bulls could be without Luol Deng's services Wednesday in Portland. Deng tweaked his left groin at the morning shootaround and played just 26 minutes after drawing the starting assignment on Bryant.

Posted by: steve9347 Nov 19 2008, 02:39 PM

We're better off without that scrub. Give his minutes to Nocioni and wish you hadn't signed him long-term.

Posted by: Chicago Bulls Franchise Nov 19 2008, 04:28 PM

The only way Oden dominates us or anyone is if he gets a bigillion put backs or dunks right under the basket. I have a feeling its going to be a long night for him offensively. He'll probably get blocked 2 or 3 times by Tyrus and wind up with 8 points or so. The way he can dominate though is defensively. He is Dwight Howard lite lite.

My predictions:

D Rose- 29 points 5 rebounds 11 assists
Gordon- 23 points 4 rebounds 3 assists
Deng- 16 points 7 rebounds 1 assist (Another terrible shooting night for him)
Nocioni- 12 points 5 rebounds
Tyrus- 5 points 4 rebounds 2 blocks
Noah- 1 point 5 rebounds
Gooden- 8 points 11 rebounds 1 block
Hughes- 3 points 3 rebounds 1 assist 1 steal

Bulls score over 100 twice in a row and beat the Blazers because Derrick Rose absolutely takes over in the second half (4th quarter mostly). Possibly a 10 point 4th quarter?

Which is highly possible, our front-line is undersized and fairly bad. Besides the domination of Pau Gasol and Al Horford, Eric Dampier put up 16-18 against us, and Oden is at least twice the player that he is. Aaron Gray will also probably see more time than usual to try to matchup with him. It's not out of the question that he has a rough game because his post moves are limited and doesn't have a jumper, but I'm not optomistic with any of our guys guarding him.

Dude you are smoking crack. Oden will dominate us just like all centers do. Bynum was averaging 9 some points on the year and got 19 against us. I look for something similar to the 22/10 Oden put up last night against the Warriors.

Posted by: MB33 Nov 19 2008, 06:58 PM

We will get dominated again down low cuz we have no bigs whatsoever!

Posted by: ZoomSlowik Nov 19 2008, 10:09 PM

This game got ugly quick. Their bench looks better than our starters.

Holy spiff, does Hunter look ugly running the point.

Posted by: MB33 Nov 19 2008, 10:18 PM

i dunno about u guys but hopefully pax is watching this one and see how we get out muscled.we have nothing whatsoever and no kind of offensive scheme

Posted by: Chicago Bulls Franchise Nov 19 2008, 10:23 PM

Ladies and gentlemen, John Paxson's Bulls.

Posted by: MB33 Nov 19 2008, 10:28 PM

Eh, there are way too many bad bigs playing in the NBA already, anyone with potential wouldn't be there unless someone else already owns their rights. Best case is probably a poor man's Aaron Gray.

Posted by: MB33 Nov 19 2008, 10:36 PM

blazers shots in the paint dunks layups bulls shots all away from the paint big difference

Posted by: Wanne Nov 19 2008, 10:38 PM

What a friggin joke this is....

Posted by: dasox24 Nov 19 2008, 11:03 PM

Games like this are so disheartening. Our offense is so miserable; they just look lost out there tonight.

Posted by: Cowch Nov 19 2008, 11:21 PM

This really is a sad.... banghead.gif

Posted by: MB33 Nov 19 2008, 11:24 PM

we are just too small to play with the nba players.we look like a college team

Posted by: ZoomSlowik Nov 19 2008, 11:26 PM

Joel Freakin' Pryzbilla is 6-6 from the field for 14 points and 9 rebounds.

Posted by: SoxFan1 Nov 19 2008, 11:44 PM

I blame John Paxson and solely John Paxson. This is disgusting.

Posted by: madisonsmadhouse Nov 20 2008, 08:16 AM

Good god how embarassing. Do you think Scott Skiles would come back if we said "pretty please"?

Hideous team. Terrible, terrible team.

Tyrus throwing the ball into the stands on a "pass" was hilarious.

Posted by: MB33 Nov 20 2008, 10:41 AM

as i said before 3 D league players who plays with heart will help this team out in the frontline.is ashamed pax didnt make a move in the off season to help the glaring thing we need.we are thin soft and no offense in the the front line the media should start hyping his exit already because this is getting old.

They need to start clearing some of this dead weight outta here...and yes...Del Negro needs to quit acting like "I wanna be your friend" and quit tippy-toeing around these selfish bastards like Hughes and Gordon.

Posted by: Chicago Bulls Franchise Nov 20 2008, 06:00 PM

Oh no guys, Larry Hughes isn't happy with his role on the team! What a freakin idiot.. He's more dumb than I thought, to think he actually thinks he does good to the team. Why don't we just "Tim Thomas" his ass? That's all you have to do, send him home.. Problem solved.

His contract is just too valuable.

The only way his contract has value is if we actually pull off a trade for something besides another terrible contract. What are the odds we do that? I would guess that there's at least a 90% chance we simply let his contract expire to save the cap space. If that's the case, we might as well just buy him out, then he's off the books now instead of after next season and we don't have to deal with his attitude and crappy play. Or, failing that, I would strongly consider pulling a Marbury and just making him in-active, though he could still be a problem/distraction.

Posted by: Chicago Bulls Franchise Nov 21 2008, 09:15 AM

Yes, let him watch from his couch and maybe we could work out a deal that would save us 5+ million and get him off of this team!

Posted by: MB33 Nov 21 2008, 11:44 AM

while the knicks are making trade rumors with dantoni our asses arent doing anything ship huges out and some other players

He has a 2010 expiring contract. Depending on how we move things around, that's either a ridiculously valuable trade piece for some team that wants their shot at Lebron/Wade/Bosh or our key to a shot at Wade/Bosh.

Posted by: MB33 Nov 21 2008, 01:21 PM

everyone talks about 2010 free agency but why would they want to come to the bulls if we dont even have a competitive team.Superstars like bron say they will listen to a team who has a chance to win consecutive championships.I dont see that in the bulls now or 2 years from now.Our core and the way our gm works forget it.Probably half of the the 2nd unit in the nba are better than our starting core because we have a flaw in our roster.

You clearly missed my point. His contract is off the books NEXT YEAR instead of 2010 if we buy him out, you still get the sizeable influx of cap space, just a year earlier. The only way we wouldn't still have that cap space in 2010 is if we spent it this off-season instead. Either way that $14 mil albatross is off our books and it'd still have the same effect as just letting it expire. The only way the contract itself has value is if we trade it, which we've shown that we're fairly reluctant to do.

Posted by: MB33 Nov 21 2008, 04:05 PM

Derrick rose is good but we dont even have a bench. The knicks are already clearing up cap space trading crawford and randolph.their team will b good financialy and at the same time they will b a better team than last year.
