I don't think that Seattle would let Ray Allen go without getting both Deng and Gordon in the deal, and I couldn't blame them for that.

Ray Allen is one of the worst defensive SGs in the entire league

Ray is one of the top defensive 2 guards in the nba. He would be a huge upgrade, and he is also 6'5. BUT, do we pull the trigger for someone who will be turn 32 in july while Ben turns 24 in April. I just did this trade on trade machine and it worked, give me some opinions on this. Chicago Sends Pj Brown Mike Sweetney Thabo Sefolosha (we could substitute our 2008 or 2009 first rounder instead) Ben Gordon Seattle Sends Chris Wilcox Ray Allen This gives us a lineup of deng/ noc / khryapa wilcox / noc / thomas wallace / wilcox / allen allen / griffin / (sefolosha if we trade draft pick instead) hinrich / duhon I'm not sure if Seattle would do this or if we would be willing to do it. But its interesting. But at the end of the day, I want the Gasol deal to go through. no way seattle gives up allen and wilcox for 2 SGs, brown and a pick. They would most likely want deng or hinrich too. |
