Gordon for Richardson plus there first round pick sounds good to me? With that contract? Only if someone is willing to give us a significantly higher first round pick in exchange for our pick and Golden State's pick. I mean, if it brought us a #3-#4 pick, maybe, but I really don't think we get better by picking up Richardson's contract and another pick in the middle of this draft. |

If he really wanted out of GS, maybe he'd take a pay cut to come here? |

If he really wanted out of GS, maybe he'd take a pay cut to come here? If this were baseball the union wouldn't allow it. I don't know of any examples of a guy in the NBA renegotiating his contract willingly like that...the closest I can come is the "Allan Houston" rule that allowed teams to cut a guy without paying the luxury tax. |

I like jason richardson, but at what price and who's mins is he taking away? He is an upgrade over gordon as far as size, but no way I make a trade for him to start over gordon.
We have 1 major need...low post scoring!!!! Thabo is coming along nicely as a tall defensive sg and Gordon will still improve. He is our clutch go to guy and has really come through for us this year. I think Deng and Gordon make a good 1-2 punch...Once we add a legit low post threat, it will open things up even more for them and make this team a contender. |
