For Lebron? They're out. In their attempt to make room to sign him they tanked the team so horribly that they actually made it an undesirable situation.

Wall to Lebron, a Russian Billionaire for an owner, and a new venue in Brooklyn.

exactly. and what exactly is on the knick's roster that is so much better than new jersey? The only players they are guaranteed to have are Gallinari, Chandler, and Curryzilla

New Jersey has Harris, Lopez, and Courtney Lee all under contract for next year in addition to one of Wall/ Turner/Favors/Cousins

EDIT: even if tony parker ends up with the knicks... i don't think that changes TOO much

It just goes to show how awful of a job Cleveland has done in building around Bron when a 12 win team is considered a player to pry Bron away from them.

With the above mentioned factors regarding the Nets- you have to consider them a factor in the Bron sweeps. However, who knows how long they'll be playing in Newark? It could be another 3 or 4 years. Yes...Prokhorov has more money than Mickey Mouse and he'll have an even bigger impact than what Cuban did in Dallas. However, it'll take time for him to acclimate himself to the American Professional Athlete. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The money and marketing is there everywhere for the Big 3...it'll take a PERSONALIZED recruiting pitch to land one of those guys.

Oh and if New York pays Parker max money in a sign and trade....LMAO.

The Knicks can also offer 2 max deals though. So Bosh and Lebron can call each other up and say "Hey, you wanna play for the Knicks"?

Same applies for Miami essentially with Wade being one of those guys.

The Triangle with a shooting guard and a SF is kind of how you did it originally.

Anyway...Cleveland would have to be willing to help the Lakers out. They'd get Bynum + back, but they'd have to be a willing participant.

Lebron and Kobe couldn't co-exist in LA no way, not a chance in hell. Kobe is THE guy in LA and I don't think he'd be too happy to give that up to Lebron.

Not that I'd expect it to actually happen given that team's ownership...but the Clippers are in position to make a max deal offer as well, and Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon, Baron Davis, and Chris Kaman, plus another top 10 pick, with an obvious hole at the SF position...if it wasn't for the ownership, in the 2nd biggest media market, with a team that would love to compete with the Lakers for attention and has huge room for revenue growth...that'd be a nearly ideal landing spot.

CSN aggrey sam says frank and cheeks are front runners-take it for what its worth.
QUOTE
as the Chicago Bulls continue to gain stature in the heavily-speculated battle for superstar LeBron James, the organization continues to methodically make inroads in the search for a new head coach. According to media reports, the team may begin the interview process as early as this week.

Former New Jersey head coach Lawrence Frank and current Oklahoma City assistant coach--and ex-Portland and Philadelphia head coach--Mo Cheeks, a Chicago native, have reportedly emerged as front-runners for the position. Dallas assistant and former Minnesota head coach Dwane Casey, a finalist for the Bulls' candidacy in 2008, as well as TNT television analyst Kevin McHale, another ex-Timberwolves boss, are also garnering strong consideration, according to reports. The aforementioned quartet are each expected to interview for the job and Houston assistant coach Elston Turner has told media that he will also be interviewed for the opening.

Other expected candidates for the position include a trio of assistant coaches who have never been NBA head coaches: Boston's Tom Thibodeau--who is gaining increasing league-wide consideration with his masterminding of the Eastern Conference finalist Celtics' defense, Utah's Tyrone Corbin (a college star at DePaul) and Brian Shaw of the Lakers, a protege of former Bulls head coach Phil Jackson, who previously indicated he isn't interested in a return to Chicago. Former Toronto head coach Sam Mitchell, Lakers assistant Brian Shaw, Utah and ex-Golden State and Sacramento head coach Eric Musselman are also considered options, while Byron Scott, Avery Johnson and former Bulls head coach Doug Collins are reportedly no longer in the running, despite meeting with other teams that have head-coaching vacancies.

University of Kentucky head coach John Calipari has been linked to the Chicago job more recently, due to ties with superstar LeBron James, a free agent many observers speculate could be in a Bulls uniform next season. Calipari, who coached All-Star point guard Derrick Rose at the University of Memphis, has experience as an NBA head coach after a stint with the Nets.

I like both of them actually. I would lean towards Mo Cheeks because I've always thought highly of him as a coach. He got a raw deal in Portland IMO as the Blazers were on their way down in a ridiculous Western Conference. He also got a raw deal in Philly as they just weren't a very good basketball team to begin with. People in OKC say he's really help take Westbrook's game to another level.
