Today is the Bull's summer league debut which can be seen at 2pm on orlandomagic.com

Some things to think about and discuss prior to the game

-What position does Tyrus play at?

-Does Thabo have the potential for lockdown defense and the handle to play some pg? Does he have enough offense to ever be a starting SG?

-Will Luuuuc make the team as our only 7-footer?

-Does anyone else on the roster have a chance to surprise us and make the team? (like duhon a couple years ago) A 3rd PG if Thabo cannot handle it?

-A chance to size up a lot of players we have talked about leading up to the draft

guys on other rosters of interest include:
Charlotte
Adam Morrison-wally sczerbiak or larry bird?
Sean May-can he sustain UNC success after injury plagued rookie year

Indiana
Danny Granger-Can he step up to fill Peja's void
James White-Was he the defensive SG we should have taken?
Shawne Williams-Intriguing and versatile prospect

Miami Heat
Vincent Grier-Well, I go to U of I and have a soft spot for big 10 players
Daniel Horton-another big ten guard, good defensive guard
Kevin Pittsnogle-Have YOU ever been pittsnogled? A shooting big, we could use 1

New Jersey
Marcus Willaims-best PG in college

Orlando
James Augistine-One of best rebounders in big ten history, AND he has can post up
Marco Killingsworth-don't we need another low post scorer? Even at 6'7?
Gerry McNamara-The simon birch of the NCAA
JJ Reddick-Can he play in the NBA? Not yet...being held out for at least some games bc of his back

IF augistine or killingsworth didn't make the magic (and at least one won't) I would like to see one of them at the end of our bench, especially augistine

Definately think that Cedric Banks and Eddie Basden are going to play well in this summer league. If Banks was a little taller and stronger we could definately use his athleticism at the SG. Another name to look at is Chevy Troutmans who is a good player but is undersized.

Drago Pasalic played well for us in the 2004 Summer Camp and if he has bulked up and plays well he might earn a spot. He has a decent shot and he has a few years of oversees professional experience. Can't wait until 2:00p.m

Anyway, if any one of these players excel that would be a bonus. However, like the rest of you my eyes will be planted on Thabo and Tyrus. I also would'nt mind seeing if Luke has improved or bulked up at all.

Big Daniel Horton fan, kid is a stud. I think he has the ability to plat at a high level in the NBA. I'm not really sure why he wasn't deserving of being drafted.

Do you know if he is playing summer league ball. I didn't see him on our roster?

Horton is playing for Miami.

He probaably wasn't drafted bc he's another one of those guys who plays harder than his ability. He actually reminds me of skiles in that respect. He is tough and hard nosed and all that, but may lack the talent to get noticed by GMs on draft night.

I could see him as a reserve in the NBA IF the right opportunity presents itself. I would rather have him than pargo.

Banks, UIC's all-time leading scorer with 2,097 points, just finished a standout season overseas. The 6-foot-3 guard was named MVP of the French Pro B League in his rookie campaign after leading his Besancon squad to a regular-season title, averaging over 20 points per outing.
