So one day, people complain about PJ playing too much...now, PJ needed more minutes. Thats cool. I have to say I had a big grin when I saw what you are referring to as well. I mean no disrespect to the poster though... PJ rightfully deserves all the respect he gets. Unfortanetly others didn't step up as much as I would hope. |

Game 6 @ the U.C. 1st tonight was Hinrich (35), then PJ (34), Lu (33), Gordon (29), and Andres (24). No one picked Kirk or PJ so Balta1701-B grabs tonight's contest by picking Lu. Great season Chicago. |

Well... I know TeaLeaf has been having computer problems, so I figured I would post the totals and such for him (since I did them myself anyways besides the 5-13 game to see if I won ). Maybe he has been doing them on paper or something, but if not maybe he won't have to sit around for 2 hours adding up these games he has missed. Game 3 @ The U.C. 1st was Deng (53), then Kirk (45), PJ (34), Wallace (31), Gordon (28). I swear I didn't cheat, but scatterbrain was the only one to pick that one . |

I'm not quite as comatose and disappointed as I would have been before these last 3 games. I am glad to see us step up and play ball with Detroit. I don't think anyone could very honestly say the Pistons aren't better right now. GREAT season. Maybe we will get lucky next Tuesday (I think?) in the lottery selection. |

Now, I'll admit that I am totally biased considering that Kansas is my college team period. However, I just think we have other things to fix first. Primarily our low post game (a post-up scorer). If we have an opportunity to get a top-notch point guard I'd be all for it personally, but I wouldn't understand going after a Connelly or another small guard in the first round. |

Man... Prince's fade away left-handed hook right there was freaking insane. He's so clutch. |

I agree completely. On another note, I'm am so sick of all the offensive rebounds the Pistons are getting. It's rediculous. Plus, we can't hit the broad side of a barn when we're shooting. I mean it seems that a majority of the players in the league beach about every other call, but whats kind of sad is Wallace is doing a relatively good job of holding his tongue with all that bitching. He was dancing around on that walk call that he was so mad about for crying out loud. |

PJ looks younger and younger these last couple games... nice hustle. Its nice to see us hanging around while shooting poor from behind the arc. |

This should be an intense game. I can't wait. Here's to hoping Gordon shows up (at least stays out of foul trouble). |

All I've heard from PJ, is that if he does come back, he wants a no trade clause... Yeah i've heard it said a few times that he was ticked at trade talks concerning his name this past year. He would be a great vet to bring off the bench. Hes a strong player fundamentally, and he has been huge for us this series. Although, I am glad to see Tyrus' performance in games 4 and 5 (especially 5... that was awesome). If we luck out and get a good lottery draw and choose a big man... he will be very limited. |

Defend home and get ready for game 7! I was so impressed with the team last night. It was baffling that we "couldn't beat" Detroit. I knew we were better than that. |

Now I am not saying that anyone on our team is irreplaceable, but I figured I'd make your statements a little more logical. I took Kirk this year and compared him with who I thought would be your top choice out of the current all-stars you compared him with (in the same year of their career). Did the same with Ben. Reason he wasn't compared with Kobe or Lebron I am assuming are obvious. Kirk Hinrich year 4: 80 80 35.5 .448 .415 .835 0.4 3.0 3.4 6.3 1.2 0.3 2.39 3.40 16.6 Steve Nash year 4: 56 27 27.4 .477 .403 .882 0.6 1.6 2.2 4.9 0.7 0.0 1.82 2.20 8.6 Now... he switched teams after 2 years. So to be very nice here is Nash after 4 years with Dallas and 6 total: 82 82 34.6 .483 .455 .887 0.6 2.5 3.1 7.7 0.6 0.0 2.79 2.00 17.9 Ben Gordon year 3: 82 51 33.0 .455 .413 .864 0.4 2.7 3.1 3.6 0.8 0.2 3.04 3.10 21.4 Tracy McGrady year 3: 79 34 31.2 .451 .277 .707 2.4 4.0 6.3 3.3 1.1 1.9 2.03 2.50 15.4 Stats are not the only thing to consider, but they definitely aren't unimportant. I make wrong decisions all the time in general , but I'd be happy with those guys. Stars have to start somewhere. I wouldn't die if we got rid of either (regardless of my avatar and sig, lol), but I think we can continue to develop them if Paxson and company choose that route and contend for titles. As for turnovers... 2.39 and 3.04 (respectively) isn't exactly awful. One would assume our staff, playing time with each other (which in my mind includes not breaking up the young core of the team), and general experience would bring those averages down some. They are kids in the biggest sport situation of their life and choked a little (or quite a bit) against the team in the east. I'm going back to bed for an hour or two... it's Friday! |

That's the truly important thing to me. We aren't a veteran group of players yet... they are. The Heat were too and we were phenomenal against them. We did battle tonight, and we will learn (you'd hope). The future is so bright for the Bulls. It just sucks we can't starting winning titles a year sooner. I hope management sticks with their guns for the most part... we are gathering a great bunch of young ball players. |

He better play hard playing guys 10 years younger than him. It could have been worse. Hopefully everyone plays all out like him regardless of age. EDIT - Tyrus is going to be an absolute freak if he stays at it. The kid is insanely gifted. I don't think anyone is saying otherwise. |
