I went with 21-25, 10-12, and 6-7, which I know is wishful thinking. If he hits those numbers, I'd be ecstatic.

Some of the poll options are a bit optomistic. tongue.gif

I think that at least early in the year he'll essentially be splitting time at PF and getting around 24 MPG. As the season goes on I can see that creeping closer to 30 after we make a decision on Gooden, or maybe earlier if he finally starts playing well. I'd be pretty happy with him if he can get 10-8 while making a difference on defense, that's not too outlandish though I did pick a hair under that. I really hope he can do that, if he has another so-so year we'll have missed numerous opportunities to move him at a higher value and his next payday will be approaching. I have a hard time seeing anything sigificantly higher than those numbers unless he's made sizeable improvements since his summer league play where he looked like roughly the same player.

I agree, Mr. Slowik. I really doubt that Tyrus sees a huge spike in ability, the spike will be seen in the minutes. Toward the end of the year I predict the Bulls will have D-Rose on full run and let Noah and Thomas rock the post, but it's still going to be nothing great.

Gordon will be playing for a contract, Deng will be healthy, Noah will be one year more consistent, Gooden will be in the best shape of his life, and Hughes will be chucking up basketballs from every spot on the court. Kirk will be crying, and hopefully will get a decent amount of PT near the beginning so we can ship him out for a mid 1st or a prospect or expiring contract.

Though the Bulls won't be great, and they disappointed last year, they should be entertaining to watch.

Players that really don't need to be around anymore:
Larry Hughes
Andres Nocioni
Kirk Hinrich
Michael Ruffin (oh wait, we just signed his alien looking ass again)

If he averages more than 15 ppg, I'll do something outrageous.

I think a Tyrus tatoo on your shaft would count as outrageous.

I may look like a fool for now, but I voted 31+, 17+, and 8-9. As a starter he looked good especially over the last couple games. He worked out this offseason... Who's to say he won't finally break out? He was a #2 pick after all. Besides, why not be overly optimistic? laugh.gif

I don't see how Tyrus even gets enough touches to score that much...

Haha, I guess that makes it seem a lot less likely, but I'd rather believe players will perform well than bad.

I can't argue with you there. I'd shout with glee if he actually did that.

QUOTE
''Consistency is going to come with consistent minutes,'' he said. ''You can't play 30 minutes three nights in a row, then play five minutes and say, 'He's inconsistent.' I feel like if I get the opportunity, I can show it for long stretches. You've seen me come into the United Center and do it for five, six games in a row. Then I don't play for five or six games. To me, that's not inconsistency, it's just a lack of opportunity.''
Link.

FWIW, it appears he's gained about 18 pounds since his weigh-in before last season where he was recorded at 215.

Yeah I just posted a full version of a similar article. Hopefully he gets his minutes and has matured, I'd love him to not be a wasted pick.
