im surprised powell got cut i really thought they would keep him. i was rooting for him. the roster now stands at 13, so does that mean they pick up someone else?

I read somewhere on realgm that Ruffin was cut so we could give him a different one year deal without all the bells and whistles the original one had.

Yeah, if he clears waivers, I read that we'll probably re-sign him. Is it really necessary to cut him and sign him to a new 1-year deal? Seems odd.
