With tonight's Charlotte loss to OKC, the Bulls have clinched a spot in the playoffs! Woohoo!

Thabo's three points provide the margin of victory! Thanks, Thabo!
You'd think the Bobcats would come in deflated tomorrow, second half of a back to back after being officially eliminated from the playoff picture. Looks like the Pistons game will decide seven versus eight. Though it is nice to see Philly keep losing, ESPECIALLY after the way the Magic looked against the Knicks tonight. If that's Orlando, bring it on. GO BULLS! |

Rookie Coach and the Rook get to the Playoffs after a down year last year. Still not too found of Vinny but Rose is starting to get better after a tough stretch he had after the All Star break.. Time to break out the black shoes and socks!

We're in it to win it. Lets get out there and give em a run for their money fellas!!!! Show them why Chicago is the most underrated team in the NBA. I want to revisit something I wrote right after we drafted Derrick -
"With the first pick in the 2008 NBA Draft the Chicago Bulls select Derrick Rose....." And so it was..... all the hopes and dreams of the long-suffering Chicago Bulls fans around the world would be fulfilled in an instant. This is a city of former glory and Champions, a city where one of the greatest NBA players of all time changed the game, a city where for over a decade the next generation of basketball players would falter and a team would be lost (only to once again find their way), a city where hope would be found on the rough streets of Englewood. This is Chi-town and it has always been and will always be a city of hard work, big shoulders, bigger dreams and some of the greatest sports fans on the face of the earth. So after all of the turmoil on and off the court last season it’s fitting that a change would come. In an amazing chain of events the Bulls somehow got the number one pick in the ’08 Draft against remarkable odds and managed to do so in sync with the basketball career of one of Chicago’s next great superstar guards in Derrick Rose. Chicago made the right choice in drafting Rose in the age of young, athletic floor generals like Deron Williams, Chris Paul and Brandon Roy. Rose is a powerful, quick, athletic basketball prodigy who will make our team great once again. A man-child with leadership capabilities like no other who displays poise under pressure and maturity well beyond his 19 years. If you are, like myself, a ride-or-die Bulls fan then it is truly time to celebrate!!!! Here’s to a great 2008-09 Bulls Season and many more to come!!!! Derrick is the greatest thing to happen to the game since the tennis shoe was invented!!!!! Go Bulls!!!!!! WHAT TIME IS IT????? ITS GAME TIME BABY!!!!!!!!! |

I am so so glad we drafted Derrick Rose #1 and not Beasley. So So Glad!! I think the impact of Salmons and Miller has changed the team dramatically and Paxson should definitely get credit for putting it together. Rose knows his teammates now and knows that Gordon will probably be hovering around the 3pt line somewhere on his drives, and if you want evidence go back and look at the Philly game Thursday, you'll know which play I'm talking about

Kinda bummed Lu is going to be missing out on it this year, but I think we can suprise some people. We've put together alot of good games since the trade that make us a little better than our record indicates

The starters are used to playing heavy minutes now. I think Luol could help in the playoffs but then again Idk because it takes minutes away from other guys who are used to the rotations.
