Who owns the tiebreakers between us, Det, and Philly?
We may all end up with the same record... then what happens? |

Who owns the tiebreakers between us, Det, and Philly? We may all end up with the same record... then what happens? I just looked that up a few days ago. Say all teams end up 41-41, the team that has the best winning percentage against both teams during the season will be the #6 and so on.... I'm pretty sure the 76ers would win the 3 way tie based on winning percentage. The Bulls are currently 2-1 vs Detroit this year. Tommorows game is huge... if they win that they are garunteed at least a 7 seed. AND Philly plays Boston and Cleveland in thier final 2 games of the year. With there recent 5 game skid, i really dont see them upsetting either of those teams... Even if Detroit wins tommorow, they finish the year facing the Heat in Miami. The Bulls finish the season at home vs Toronto on Wednesday. Pretty much all things have it pointing toward the Bulls having that 6th seed.. The playoffs will likely look like this: 1. Cavs vs 8. Pistons 4. Hawks vs 5. Heat 2. Celtics vs 7. Sixers 3. Magic vs 6. Bulls I hope this helps...... a lot can happen in the next 3 days, but chances are really good that the Bulls have that 6th spot.... |

Yeah... my only concern is Miami has the 5th spot locked up.
Might they rest DWade during their final game against the Pistons? I have a feeling we are headed towards the #7 seed. |

Another issue... if the Cavs win tonight... they will not play Lebron or Mo Williams against the 76ers on Wednesday because they will have already locked up the best overall record.
YUCK. |

That's why beating the Pisstons is so important tonight! I think Boston is going to do for the Sixers tomorrow--don't think the Celts want to go into the playoffs with no Mo whatsoever, and they got humiliated by the Cavs yesterday. |

FWIW...ESPN fastbreak still had us at 7. I think we're a half game up now for 6.

Great spot to be considering the start of the year. Orlando is a decent drop off from Cleveland and Boston so I'll take it. Orlando seems like a bad matchup to me though.

I actually don't mind that matchup now. Turk left the game tonight hurt...and basically like the guys on ESPN said they live by the 3 outside. Since the trade...I think this team matches up much better with them. And if you contain Howard nobody else rebounds. I actually don't mind either matchup being at 6 or 7. |

The only chance we have against Orlando is we Hack-a-Howard and it works well. We all know he's a terrible FT shooter so if we got that in our favor we can eliminate alot of his impact.

If we're going to be running out Tyrus and Miller at PF and C, then we're going to get slaughtered by Howard anyway. |
