As it stands the Bulls are holding onto the 8th seed in the East and this means we would play the number 1 seeded Cavs but it is possible that if Detroit continue to slip and we make a push that we may face the number 2 seed Celtics in the first round.
Would you rather square off against LeBron and Co. or The Big Three of Boston????

I've been debating this topic myself for a while. I really don't think we can win either series but I'm leaning more towards Boston now. I keep visioning Lebron James shooting about 18 free throws a game against us because the refs will make sure Cleveland makes it deep into the playoffs since Lebron is a superstar. Atleast with Boston they struggle against athletic teams and with Rose, Tyrus, and Joakim we could cause them trouble in our uptempo system. KG is still coming off a pretty serious injury and I think we could take advantage of him by running the floor. If we play Cleveland, Lebron will dominate the ball as usual and make these lucky fadeaway/3 pt shots that he has no business making and the Bulls will have no answer. It's a tough call, I could be leaning the other way tomorrow for all I know..

If he is consistently hitting those fade away 3's, is it still lucky?

No because he's not consistently doing it. Lebron is the biggest hot/cold 3pt shooter in the league, he just seems to always be hot when he plays the Bulls.. sad.gif

Magic.

Yup. Unless Miami would oblige us with an epic losing streak...

Out of the Cavs and Celtics...frankly, I'll take the Cavs. Not because I think we'll be a better matchup against them in any fashion...I just think they may find themselves more motivated by playing the traditional rival. And since we're going to be outcoached, motivation's probably all we've got going for us.

Not that we'd win a road playoff game against anybody but the Cavs are darn near unbeatable in their own arena. I'd like to take my chances with Boston or Orlando.

Of course, if the Celtics can't get Kevin Garnett back near 100% before the playoffs...all bets are off.
