our offense 1 pass and shoot

If you're lucky. More often than not, it's the patented "drive awkwardly, get fouled while the ref is blinking and wildly throw up a shot" offense.

Gordon and "consistent" don't belong in the same sentence.

The point is, he's led the Bulls in scoring ever since he came into the league, while the #2 and #3 scorers behind him have depended on who felt like showing up that night. Getting rid of your best scorer for anything other than another potential #1 scorer would be a step back.

He doesn't even know what the offense is. He's played 2 games, give it time. It might seem a little better when you have Deng and Gooden to throw the ball to instead of Joakim and Tyrus..

True that. Or Ben Gordon instead of whoever the hell else was on the team.

I think it would be crazy to trade Gordon. I understand he's an undersized, one-way player, but above all those things he's been the Bulls most consistent scorer by a wide, wide margin ever since he put on the uniform. Trade him, and what exactly do you have?

im exited about the coaching staff, its going to help del negro alot and make the transition alot easier for him and the players. what are they doing with ron adams? i remember reading adams and meyers would still have a spot in the organization.

Pete Myers will remain as the bench coach, aka Cheerleader without the pom-poms, and Ron Adams has taken on a scouting role in the organization.

As much as I'd love for this to happen, I just don't see it.
Brand's comments on the radio can be attributed to the fact that he's a nice guy, and he'd never publicly badmouth a team, especially the one that drafted him, ESPECIALLY on a local radio show.
Secondly, he's in the movie business, a professional schmoozer. When talking to him about future deals, one should expect nothing less than a smile and a handshake and that's exactly what he gave listeners during that interview.

I wouldn't read too much into what Pax says about Deng and Gordon when he talks about how Rose will affect the current roster. That way I see it, Pax is talking about the current, up to the minute roster, with no regards to possible trades or future plans at all. Even if he knew he was trading Deng tomorrow, he'd still talk about him as a Bull today.

I like the trade a whole lot, seeing how Hughes is pretty much untradeable (sic?).
Camby would be a nice presence in the middle until Noah's ready to take over.
