Not me. I expected a raw rookie to play like a raw rookie (1/2 year of college ball). I expect a lot of this during the season. All we can hope is that it doesn't happen at crutial times. Also, the talent level he will be playing with will be a bit more, therefore some of these mistakes can be covered. Remember, we didn't draft a 'play me now' player. We drafted for the future. He will be OK. I just don't want another Chandler, and I don't think he will be.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 10 2006, 03:08 PM) For the most part. Had some nice boards, a nice block or 2, and a couple big dunks. But his jumper was off and he looked quite lost on the court. Made some bonehead plays throwing the ball away, getting it stolen, but for the most part, nothing that cant't be fixed. He didn't play horribly but he didn't play good either. That's basically what was expected. His statline will look decent (I think like 12 points, 7 boards or so), but he wasn't exactly dominant. He's still very raw, so he's going to have some rough stretches. His offense was non-existant outside of 3 feet and he made some bad turnovers and fouls, but we knew that was coming. I wasn't that impressed with his defense either. He was an imposing shot-altering force in the NCAA tournament, which we didn't really see tonight. |

He was bad. But I'm not terribly worried. I don't think he's gonna win rookie of the year or anything but one summer league game doesn't mean he can't be productive at all this year. |

He'll be a good energy guy that can play some D, rebound, and make some hustle plays. I just wouldn't expect him to do too much more. |

Still it was only 1 game so cant really conclude anything yet. |

This is all I got so far...
"First round Draft picks Tyrus Thomas and Thabo Sefolosha combined for 26 points as Chicago won its opener at the Pepsi Pro Summer League on Monday, topping Indiana 93-88. Aaron Miles led the Bulls with 19 points, while David Harrison and James White each scored 17 points for the Pacers." |

Will he save a few games every year with his huge blocks in the final minutes? |

Will he get a 60 millions dollar contract and then quit trying? Will he averaged 5 fouls a game? |

He saved 1 game against the Celtics with a block on Pierce in the last seconds of the game...which I turned into a wallpaper... http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/3978/tyson20yd.jpg |
